4pcs stainless steel repair plates with 32 screws. Flat fixing brackets for cooking kitchen cabinet doors

these repair plates were such a brilliant find. my mum had a cupboard door in her kitchen that had been hanging off and unusable for years, and we’d tried all sorts to fix it without luck. these plates came with everything needed. so we didn’t have to hunt for extra parts. they were really simple and straightforward to fit, no special tools or skills needed at all. within minutes the door was back on, working perfectly and closing properly again. it’s such a small, affordable item but it made such a big difference, my mum is so happy to finally have that cupboard door working again after all this time. honestly such a great solution, would definitely recommend these to anyone with wobbly or broken cupboard hinges.

Absolutely stunned that I have gone through life not knowing these existed. I took a chance and ordered them to repair the doors on our Ikea wardrobes. I was very sceptical and fully expected to have to begrudgingly replace the wardrobe. They worked perfectly, although I did have to make a minor alteration due to the location of the holes that I needed for my specific wardrobes. They were so good, I went ahead and fitted them to all 6 hinges to future proof the doors. Worth every penny.

Bought to sure up a set of hinges on a kitchen sink unit. (Bought more than needed to keep in stock) Easy to fit and work well. Take a little time to mark the position of the holes and pilot drill first and you'll have no problem fitting.

Worked. The screen holes on the cabinet that was holding the door had gone all big so the bracket screws no longer would fit. I filled the holes with wood filler attached the adjacent plate and screwed back on the door with hinge using the screen provided ( don't use original screws) then I screwed in more screws to hole the plate firmly in place. It's worked. You can see vids of how to do on the net.

The plates worked fine and relatively straightforward to install. However, the screws were shockingly bad and just wouldn’t go into the door. Swapped for some turbo drive screws I had and worked a charm. So great, provided you have your own decent screws.

Useful to have to hand as cupboard hinges often work loose. Be careful as the plates are very thin and not that well deburred. These are better designed for the door side of the hinge, I had to drill out the two hinge fixing holes to make them fit on the cupboard side. For £1 per hinge, they are a good buy and save much messing about trying to fix loose holes in the MDF.
