Very Impressed. Accommodates A5 Spiral Notebooks
Perfect travelers notebook/notebook cover if you have a lot of stuff. Beautiful, thick, quality leather. It is stiff, but will likely soften with use. Very versatile. Pockets are great, and elastics are nice and thick for durability.I've always liked the modular functionality of traveler's notebooks, but I prefer spiral notebooks for some things. I have been using a KOKUYO Systemic notebook cover as a daily carry for my two spiral notebooks and traditional TN inserts, all A5 size. The KOKUYO setup has worked perfectly for a few years, and I love the organization, but the fabric cover is starting to get a little worn. I was on the hunt for a leather cover that I could simply put my entire KOKUYO binder into to give it a bit of an upgrade. With that idea in mind, I looked at leather bible covers to accommodate the thickness of my full setup. I then came across this one and purchased the A5 size, even though I was worried it might be too small. The size is perfect! It has plenty of room for two A5 spiral notebooks. I also currently have two smaller TN inserts in the elastics, but could easily add two more. Photos show this notebook set up both ways. One way is as the standalone travelers notebook as it's intended to be, and the other way is covering the full KOKUYO. This is a nice, sturdy, quality piece that will last for years. For the price point, I'm glad I took a chance on it. And I wanted to share my review to let people know that this cover can also accommodate spiral notebooks.

Well-Designed Travelers Notebook Cover with Practical Organization
I am very pleased with the newestor Travelers Notebook Cover (A5 size) with inner pockets, card slots, and pen holder. Shipping was prompt, and the cover arrived securely packaged and in excellent condition. The protective wrapping helped preserve the material and ensured it was ready for immediate use.In terms of product quality, the notebook cover feels sturdy and thoughtfully constructed. The material has a pleasant texture that balances durability with a refined look. The stitching appears solid, and I have confidence the cover will hold up well to regular handling. The A5 size fits standard journals and planners comfortably, with no awkward overhang or strain on the edges. The internal organization is a standout feature. Multiple pockets and card slots provide plenty of room for IDs, business cards, notes, and receipts, which helps keep essentials neatly accessible. The integrated pen holder is a convenient addition, ensuring I never have to search for a writing instrument when I need one. The layout feels intuitive and enhances the overall functionality of the notebook cover without adding unnecessary bulk. From a value perspective, this travelers notebook cover offers excellent utility for the price. It elevates a basic notebook into a more organized, travel-ready tool for daily planning, journaling, or professional use. Overall, this is a high-quality, practical accessory that combines style and functionality, and I would confidently recommend it.

PERFECT FOR THE FUNCTIONALITY AND PRICE
I own a lot of different brands of TNs ranging from inexpensive to relatively expensive (purchased on sale). My very favorite TNs come from 2 shops (one is no longer in business and the other stopped making its better quality TNs; now it just offers basic boring TNs in every color imaginable). This TN has the best features at a price that makes it a steal - book binding spine (so inserts and notebooks evenly sit in it), strings (for inserts), and pockets (for notebooks folio-style and stashing). It’s not the most luxurious leather, but it’s thick and sturdy and still soft enough to wrap around a notebook or stack of inserts or both. Best of all are the variety of sizes (my faves are a6, b6, a5, and the traditional TN size) and very reasonable prices. My only wish is that there were more color options, but brown is the traditional TN color for a reason - you can carry it every day and just about everywhere, it won’t show dirt, and scratches can be conditioned/rubbed out (though I think they give it character and leave them). TNs are designed to scratch easily. The vegetable-tanned cowhide features a natural, uncorrected finish, and the leather's natural oils allow marks to blend, deepen in color, and develop a unique "patina" over time.

Pleasantly Surprised
I needed to replace my other journal cover that was three times the price of this one. My expectations were not high. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this one for the price point! I wasn’t planning on liking this as much as I do. It’s well constructed and has a classic journal feeling to it. The extra pockets inside are a big plus and the pen loop is much appreciated. I was able to add 5 Apica A5 fountain pen notebooks into it and it fits them like a glove. This was to be a temporary solution until I could afford to get another expensive one, but to be honest, this one is so nice I don’t see any need to buy a more expensive one. The leather is thick and a bit stiffer than my other cover, but I don’t really mind it and I know it will soften over time. Overall this is a fantastic value and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Durable, feature rich, good value
Bought this passport sized option as a travelers notebook for daily use. The leather is fairly stiff, but it feels durable. The inside slot options are nice and I an able to fit a fair amount of stuff in here, including a calendar, a few notebooks, a tracking card, and some other random cards. The spine is thick. Very thick. It's not like a traditional travelers notebook in my opinion, it's more of a small notebook with elastic cord for holding notepads. The leather is rigid, like I said. The color is nice. There are more supple options of handmade items available elsewhere, I have a few of those now, too. No issues with this at all - it's nice and was a good value, I just prefer a less rigid option with less of a spine-style construction.Pros:Good priceDurableHolds a lot of stuff without feeling bulkyCons:Rigid leather, maybe it'll break in, but it's pretty stiffSpine is more of a book spine than a folding cover

Good product, flawed page.
I ordered the A6 size cover, and in and of itself, it's great. The outer material is great, I love the not quite fine-grain not quite polished leather, albeit that may not be everyone's cup of tea. The inner-material is as expected, fine-grain texture semi-soft to the touch and so on.To start the critical stuff, I really wish the page contained a size guide or comparison images. I would've gotten a slightly smaller cover had it been easier to estimate real world scale. Additionally, post-purchase I've noticed the inner material tends to rub off with excess ease leaving a stain on certain items when the inner pockets are used (stuff that would have ribs or rippled textures mostly), which is a notable downside, but the damage to the cover itself at least can be fixed by just rubbing it and it blends back in fine to the extent I've had to so far. Additionally the inside material particles rubs off a majority of materials I've dealt with just fine.As far as usability, this is where the minus one star really comes in. I love the design, it's among the only affordable budget covers that I could find following an extensive search that fit my preferences and needs (Multiple pockets of different types, pen loops, and quad holding strings, with blank space left for external clips and the likes.) But the images shown on the store page lead me to believe that the pockets would be far more loose than they are. And that, the pockets being less versatile, is a pretty notable downside for me. It's not a dealbreaker though.All-in-all, for a first-timer with regards to notebook covers, I'm happy with what I got and it fulfills and adapts to my needs well. Just with a few hiccups that stem from some lack of clarity or real specifications. Buy a few butterly clips, and you'll be just fine. If you get one for yourself, don't hype it up in your head, these really are just what you make them in large part.

Outstanding product - just not for me
This cover arrived in a soft envelope, obviously having taken a beating in transit, but that's an Amazon thing and not a seller issue, but definitely check the item closely when you get it, just in case. Mine arrived in perfect condition. The Pros: this cover is amazing. It's really sturdy and has a stiff feel- not because the leather itself is stiff, but because with the addition of the pockets and the reinforced spine, most of the cover has 2-3 layers of leather. Have you ever had to worry about the elastic causing the leather to dimple or crease where it closes? Not with this traveler's journal- the extra layers reinforce the outside edges too, so the elastic closure doesn't leave any marks. The leather color is a dark, rich brown and feels so substantial that it basically feels like it can take any beating you give it. I love the pockets! I would have preferred just big pockets instead of card slots, but the storage available is ample. It's a very well made cover. The Cons: It's a stiff cover. If you want to be able to roll up your traveler's notebook, this one isn't for you. Also the extra layers of leather make it heavier than other traveler's in the same size, and that's even before you put inserts into it. The included pen loop is handy (and really every traveler's should have some kind of pen holder), but if you like to write with fountain pens, this one will only fit very slim models- anything thicker than a Preppy won't fit.The reason I'm returning mine is simply because it's cut pretty tight and small. I tend to have a variety of inserts from different places and like my covers to be cut a little more oversized to fit them all. This cover really best fits traditional traveler's inserts, so if you don't mind just sticking to those, then it's fine. If you tend to use other sizes that are close to insert size, then they might not fit.All in all this is a fabulous, rugged cover with great storage options and I would totally recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful sturdy notebook cover
I looked at a lot of "traveler's notebooks" here and in person at stores. I didn't like the floppy look/feel most had, nor the sense that the spine area gets crowded when there are multiple inserts. This A5 cover, with its sturdy spine reinforcement (giving it more structure, like a book) and four stretch bands, perfectly holds 3 dotted notebooks, a cardboard folder, and (tucked into the back flap's pocket) a softcover A5 Stillman & Birn sketchbook. The pockets on the inside front and back flaps are very useful for business cards, small rulers, receipts, and so forth--even a passport or passport-sized notebook for extra writing space. The leather is thick and a beautiful dark brown color, already appearing aged. Its surface is natural (not polished or sealed) and as such, shows scuffs and marks fairly easily. I love this since I plan to take it with me on all kinds of sketching and traveling adventures, and hope the memories and stories from them will be enshrined in future marks, scuffs, stains, and scratches. It took me a long time to decide to buy this but I am so happy with the purchase!

Excellent product - best brand for travellers' journals
This is the third Newestor / September Leather traveller's journal which I've purchased. The quality of all their products that I've owned is excellent, and the packaging is great too - plus you can use the sleeve and carton to store spare notebooks. This time I purchased the A5 size so I have more room to write comfortably. The leather is very good quality and feels great to the touch. Its thick and the stitching is excellent. There is plenty of room inside too. The card holders and inner sleeves are a very useful addition. With four 50 sheet notebooks inside it doesn't feel cramped and has room for more if I really wanted. I also own their plain passport size and standard travellers journals. I've had those for some time, and they have aged very nicely. I have compared to other brands including the OG Midori, and the quality and finish of this brand is more durable and much better value. I highly recommend Newestor / September Leather.

Excelente calidad y formato
Queda ajustado y precioso. Muy recomendable.
