I got this to make candy and it's really easy to use. I even use it for baking. Great product. I have no issues so far.

I purchased this unit when the price dropped and was featured on YouTube Den of Tools. I did not need it but I could not resist the low price. I have a significantly more expensive unit so thought it would be fun to test them side by side. Impressively, this guy provided very similar result, only a few tenths of a degree at higher temperatures. This is a good home unit for a reasonable price which I ended up giving to my son-in-law. Most folks do not realise how handy these are until they have one so this is a great gift for a hard to buy for dude.

Would be better if it had Fahrenheit, but it's good to see sharp on math, and the price was great

I love this thing. I bought it both to help with cooking as well as help with TV repair diagnosis. I haven't done much cooking yet, but a TV's mainboard was cooking, and this helped me diagnose the seemingly sporadic problem! Works great to test temperatures on electronic components. Reads a specific point with good accuracy. Get one!

The LCD readout is not backlit so it is very hard to read. Since it is hard to read I can' t give it high marks. Also the calibration isn't real good. Book says allow to adjust to ambient temp. So you can't walk out of a 50 degree garage to a 30 degree driveway and expect the temp to be correct unless you stand around in the cold for ten minutes waiting for it to adjust.

I was so stressed because my current cooking thermometer is not very easy to use. Thermometer is especially necessary for fried food cooking. However, it is not only for cooking, but also for measuring the ceiling temperature in each room and noticing uneven temperatures in the room. I think I bought a very good product.

This handy little temp gun is awesome. I used it for my wood furnace and also bath water. Just point and pull the trigger. Super simple and instant temp read. You won't be disappointed

This thermometer is te best gadget for bbq. Easy to use, accurate and fast temperature reading. The wired probe extension let you know the temperature inside the meat and the laser for outside. Very useful and important for a perfect cooked barbecue. Definitely worth the money.

Auch für Swiss Meringue Buttercream, um die Temperatur von Eiweiß zu überprüfen (um die Salmonellen abzutöten), ist es sehr hilfreich beim Schlagen der Eiweiß. Also, ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Bought this one as the previous one we owned couldn't read over 500 degrees. We use it for the outdoor pizza oven. Great quality and accurate readings

Works fine, using it for central heating diagnosis. It stopped working after dropping it on the kitchen floor a couple of times but found this was just the bad batteries supplied. Reads a bit high compared to a digital food probe and an old IR thermometer.
