Finally my helix from school finally ate it. Well, actually the thing lasted for 30 years and my DOG ATE IT. This is to replace that. It has great clarity and precise measurements. It is much easier to see through than my old one and seems well built. I hope this one lasts another 30 years! Good measuring tools to do consistent work. Precision needed and that is just what I received.

Good value for the money. Thought it would be a little bigger but it's easy to use. I like the quality as it is shatterproof.

This is perfect for perspective drawing. My students draw a circle, then use this device to divide the circle into several equal angles as the first step in creating buildings radiating from the center point. Delivery was fast! Item arrived a week early, even though the Helix traveled from England and went through customs. Very very pleased.

This product makes measuring and replicating angles a breeze. Great for reducing the initial layout time when drawing geometric patterns.

A useful little protractor to have around when you need it.

Before Tom-Toms, GPS’s, and other handheld items, there used to be these paper folded things called maps. Gas Stations used to sell them right on the side when you walked out. Nowadays they’re not even cared about. ‘Cept if you ever wanted to think about straight lines, brisk air and level horizons. You wouldn’t want to untie your keel and leave the dock without this and a straight ruler. Because when your communication device runs outside the reception tower, you better know what your reverse azimuth bearing is or have a double blinking light on your mast. – Waters are cold and so are the coastal winds.
