Huge Improvement
I have a 2015 Giant Defy 5. I put so many miles that it was time to refresh the drivetrain. It came with FSA cranks and chainrings and claris components. It had a heavy tapered sealed bottom bracket. I paired the claris cranks with the shimano 68mm BBR60 bottom bracket and I had a good mechanic install and then adjust everything. The only sound I hear now is the tires on the road, it works perfectly and much better than the fsa stuff. I feel increased ability to accelerate. It’s just a huge improvement over the heavier stock part. I don’t know why people hate claris it’s working beautifully and doesn’t cost a fortune. 5 stars all the way.
