good product
great value for money, but it is a bit flimsy which is to be expected with how much cheaper it is compared to others but it still does the job and is easy to use

Wind Up
I was replacing my broken wool winder. The size is perfect, though the clamp isn't big enough for my worktable, though that's a me problem. The machine is super easy to use and can wind a variety of yarns. It is exactly the same as the one it's replacing.

Very good, but one main issue
Good quality yarn winder, can work fast and rarely sticks. However, the little metal arm doesnt stay up properly by itself, so you either need to be very gentle or wrap something around it to hold it in place. It’s also a little on the small side, but not too bad overall. Good value for the price!

Only a few issues to keep in mind but still good
It's a decent product and does what is needed but the metal piece you thread the yarn through isn't stable in the slightest and constantly moves around if you don't hold it in place as well as the price that the yarn is spun on falls off if you accidentally spin it the wrong way, it doesn't come off immediately so it's mildly annoying to either put back on and continue doing so it the ball is at the end or starting all over again. Personally will be sticking with it cause the issues are easy to work with but it's something to keep in mind

Works but has issue
So I want to give this about 2.5 stars. It does work and for the price I found it let me try out if a yarn winder was something that I would use. I do use this regularly BUT the issue with it is the metal thing that needs to stand up to feed the yarn in does not stay up. For me I modified it with tape, but now it’s a bit awkward to put away as you can’t fold that piece down. I do use this but it would be great if that issue was fixed. Also just to add that it makes smaller yarn balls than I anticipated. I get around this by sort of sliding the yarn ball up, because if you don’t slide it up and just try to keep putting more wool on it will all get caught in the gears at the bottom.

Excellent! Makes everything so much easier
Bought this yarn winder as a gift for a friend. The size was great and it works well as long as you don’t put too much yarn into it or too thick of a yarn on it. It makes crocheting or knitting so much easier as you’re not having to unravel yarn from the ball and it just pulls so much easier. My friend has re-winded all yarns that she can to make projects easier, she’s very happy with it.

Absolutely useless.
The coil for the yarn feed is too tight to get the yarn through easily so you have to thread it like a needle. The clamp to secure the winder to a table is only threaded on one side of the bolt. The feeding arm is too low so yarn constantly drops and gets tangled in the gears. The arm doesn't secure so falls down randomly. Only buy this if you actively want to destroy every skein of yarn you own and/or want to spend an exceptional amount of time trying to detangle your yarn from the mechanism. I had a different branded winder previously that had none of these issues, safe to say I'm just going to go back to that brand if this is what the competition delivers.
