New favorite- Janome Mod 19 sewing machine
This Janome Mod 19 sewing machine is a must have. It is easy to thread the needle, has a drop in bobbin, is very quiet, light weight although sturdy. I have to say it is much more affordable than I would have thought for such a durable machine. I only repaired a comforter for my first project but I had no problem getting the job done.I am extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend to beginners and experienced sewing professionals.

Good reliable machine!
I've had the machine long enough to give it an honest review, having used it for many projects now. This is a great little machine and has not failed me once. The only reason I deducted one star was because I did have to purchase additional strip lighting as the sewing area is a little too dark for my taste. I needed a little more lighting than the machine's small light bulb provided.
