Would it work with a generator that has only two wires, and how?

The wind generator is apparently a three phase alternator much like in your car. It has a diode block in the charge controlor, much like a voltage regulator in your car. It has a two wire output, red and black that goes to your battery. Check the polarity before you attach it to the battery, I think the red is positive.

What types of batteries are supported by thus charger?

12 volt DC -usually use a car battery. BUT I have had nothing but trouble with the wind generator itself. Follow the installation instructions exactly and I hope it works for you.

Could you connect two turbines to one controller?

yes but this particular controller will not handle any real load

Is ip67 a mppt controller

Ip67, IP stands for Intrusion Protection. It is a classification rating standard. Basically it is the rating that the manufacturer puts on a product that tells how sealed the unit is against dust and moisture.

Great quality product

I bought this item for a homemade wind turbine! It worked great was very affordable and fully waterproof. It got my windturbine built at a fraction of the cost of a commercially available turbine! I will defiantly be buying more for future turbines in a quest to go off grid.
