So do i attach the white & yellow wires together on the one side and the black to black on the other side?

Accepted Answer

No you splice the yellow light into the hot wire on your turn signal harness.  So the front yellow blinks with your turn signal and the white side light runs with the lights. Or that’s how I have mine. 
You could put both together and both lights stay on with the headlights. I’ve gotten a lot of comment and questions about mine being turn signals tho. 
It’s up to you what you want to do

Question 2

No wiring instructions included?  How to I find these?

I used test light. Ground it out. Turn on the head lights to find the hot. Ground a wire and touch one of the other 2 to the hot. Faster than looking for wiring instructions. I used black as ground, white as hot for running light and yellow for turn signal if I’m not mistaken. Been that way for almost a year with no problems.

It's been a while since I installed one on my 2019 86 TRD that I've sold;
but I can tell this.  Google BRZ/FRS/86 install info. Don't limit yourself to this particular "brand" light assemly just google the assembly in general.
I emailed the vender that was some help. They sent a youtube link.
I searched & watched youtube videos that helped a little.
I read reviews on Amazon that had install info. Some had videos, that helped a lot.
Then I went to a friends house who messes with cars more than me;
figured out which wires on my car corresponded to the lights on the unit.
traced the wire already on my car so I knew where I was running the new one 
made the connections and drove off into the sunset.
I remember I had to splice one wire the rest worked with one of the provided  wire harnesses, I think.
That's the best I can tell you if you lived next door I'd give you a hand.
