I LOVE the height and looks of these shoes and they're very comfortable - my new favorite shoes - memory foam-type cushion inside & a good high wedge heel - so it doesn't feel like a high heel, but I get good height. The only negative thing is they sort of stay indented inside - it doesnt come back to smooth - even after not wearing for a long time - and not having worn for long - it will still have the indentation of my toes! Also didn't have my size (7) so I got 7 1/2 & added a heel cushion and they feel better than another brand of a similar type I tried in a different color that the heel wasnt quite as high and the size 7 that usually fits me perfectly feels snug - and hard to wear for any long amount of time - so I am glad to have the half size up and have them be a bit looser so they're more comfortable. Every time I wear them I get people complimenting them! They look very nice and are, to me, the equivalent of the classic black dress in a shoe. They would be perfect if the cushion was able to come back better. Just might not be a shoe you could share! ;)

I have owned Bernie Mev shoes in this style before and wore them completely out! These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own! I wear a lot of beige and browns and so I purchased these knowing that they would have a gold look to them and they did not disappoint! My back is not comfortable in flat shoes so the wedge heel works for my back and they look nice in the office. I typically wear a size 8.5 – 9 and that is what I ordered. They fit perfectly. The mesh uppers are elasticized and so as the day goes on and my feet swell, they still fit great without squeezing. The synthetic soles grip well and do not slide even when wet. If the uppers get wet, they dry quickly and do not discolor. You have to try these to believe how comfortable they are.

I have 5 pair, all types; the fabric like shoe is much more comfy, but these (bronze & silver) are more metallic and the material has a somewhat "scratchy" feel to them. There is some friction on your feet, especially your toes, since the pressure tends to rest on the front of your feet with any heel. The good news is, they become less "scratchy" and "stiff" feeling over time (the more you wear them), but the cloth types are soft from the beginning. The sizes are not always consistent and are sometimes off by about half a size; try them on first, don't assume! They are soft, to the point of being a little "mushy" and I happen to like a durable, yet soft and comfy shoe (Alegria or Fly London), they look nice and are a good go to shoe, but not more comfy or durable than the Algeria or Fly London. You will make it through the day in them, but you might slip your feet in and out of them a couple of times during the break-in period. As a teacher, they are great, but if you are a nurse, you may opt for the flat Bernie Mev, your work day is fast paced & hectic quite often and I wouldn't advise it. Algeria or Fly London for you!

Bernie Mev... I can't say enough! I'm a bartender on weekends and, as many of us in the service industry know, SAFE, comfy AND CUTE are like the holy grail of shoe finds... but let me tell you... this is my 2nd pair (in a year) and I have to say... THESE ARE A GOD-SEND! I wear heels most of my waking hours in my other "real" job (9-5 M-F) and wearing the flat, sensible, UGLY shoes that are out there for servers... well- they did terrible things to my back! I spent 100s of dollars on shoes trying out what others had recommended and nothing worked. Finally... someone suggested that I try something with a little lift to see if that helped. HOLY-WALKING-ON-CLOUDS!!! These are my fave by far. I'm hard on my work shoes... I stand full time for at least 10-hour shifts and these are SO COMFORTABLE! My back feels great... my hips and calves feel great! They are amazing shoes! Annnnnnd... I get tons of compliments from customers about my "cute shoes." YESSSSSSSSSSSS! So if you're not a bartender and you're just in search of some cute and comfy (and extremely well-made) shoes. PICK THESE PICK THESE!! They hold up well and you won't be sorry!

I ordered these in a size 42 (usually a size 10 or 10w depending on the type of shoe) because I had gone to a store hat sells them and they only go up to 41. After a day in the 41 I had to return them to the store because they were too right on the band (kept leaving indents and marks from strap) so I found a 42 on here. When I wear them with the strap they are amazingly comfortable yet fashionable. I got these so I could wear them to work, I'm a nanny and I walk around them all day and it's fine. I wore them on Halloween this weekend to a rave and had little to no discomfort at the end of the night! Normally I'd be having to carry my heels after a night of dancing until 4 am but not with these! The only thing is that if I wanted to wear the shoes without the strap (just laying it on the sole of the shoe and putting my foot on top of it) I step right out of them. If they had a 41.5 I think I'd be ok but alas. I love these shoes and I get compliments on them every time I've worn them (3 times now) cute. fashionable. sensible.

I ordered these shoes after I had tried on a similar brand in a department store but they were a really bright color and wanted a black pair to wear at work. I searched everywhere for a black pair and was so excited when I found these. I typically wear a size 8 shoe in US sizes and after reading multiple charts it sounded like I should be okay with a size 39. Fortunately that was one of the few sizes available!! Shoes arrived in a timely manner. I am not familiar with the brand but the shoes came in a really nice box and the shoes itself were placed in a felt bag inside. I immediately tried the shoe on and it was too big. I was so disappointed, but I understand that is the risk you take when purchasing online. Other than the shoe being too big I did feel that it a nice quality and that it would be a good shoe someone could be on their feet all day on. I'm bummed I didn't take any pics before I returned them so you could see how nice they were. My only complaint would be that 1) the material on the back of the heel did feel a but flimsy and I thought had it been a little more stiff it may not have slid off my foot so easily and 2) I thought the width felt pretty tight for people saying they were good for wide feet. I'm sure they stretch a little given the material but didn't feel as good as the ones I had tried on in the store. Maybe the color makes a difference. I received a prompt approval from the seller to make the return, I shipped it off. Hopefully the rest of the process will go smoothly, but I would purchase this brand again I just know I need the 38.

I love this brand!! 4th pair... different style. Now I have a pair for every occasion. There so comfortable and so worth the price! Best fit from the first day but without the blisters. 😊

VERY VERY GOOD,USEFUL

I have worn Bernie Mev's for close to 5 years and would not choose to wear anything else. They are versatile for any occasion and I have had so many compliments over the years about these shoes. Most importantly, you can walk in them all day and not have hurting feet at the end of the day.
