Does this smell girly or would it work for a man as well?

Hi Jake & Alisha, this product has a mild apricot fragrance, sort of tropical. It's not girly, just fresh. I think a man could also use it. I really hate strong scented products. I've purchased products and used them only once because the smell is so strong, but Garnier Fructis products have a more natural scent. I like them, and they also make your hair look and feel really great. Soft, shiny and healthy without any product build up and tackiness. Hope this helps

does it work well with flat irons and curling irons?

I feel like it does. It leaves my hair shiny, and not oily or greasy. Of course I avoid my roots because I have naturally oily hair.

Is this product curly girl approved?

Yes!! I’ve got curly hair that acts unruly in any humidity and it’s been wonderful. Heavy enough to have an impact on hair but still feels lightweight. Doesn’t leave the wet/gelled look a lot of products do on curly hair

How does this compare to the fructis style anti-humidity smoothing milk? is there a difference in results while using a serum instead of a milk?

The serum is a bit thicker and stands up better to humidity.
