Color Fan - Winter

Just bought a new wardrobe, and was amazed that the majority of those purchases align with the suggested colors in my Winter color fan. Have even discovered that white gold jewelry is more flattering on me than yellow gold, as the color fan suggests. Learning that a few decades ago would have saved me thousands. There were a few surprises (grays? purples? taupes?!?). In the fan, each base color is presented with 5 shades, which is very helpful. Thought I'd carry it in my purse, but the lower shades were just tiny pie slices. Unscrewed the pin that secured the laminated fan, and mounted the shade cards in color families on white paper in plastic sheet protectors. Now each color shade is fully visible and accessible. Was surprised to learn I should be wearing white, instead of cream, to enhance my skin tone. Pricey, but will last a lifetime and guide my clothing choices to those whose colors help me look and feel my best. Highly recommended.

Great fan. Love that there is deep to light on the strip of color so you can decide what is best for you. Only negative is that whatever paper they use, the pages stick together so it's hard to fan them out or get the particular strip out that you want.

This fan is of good quality and just what I expected.

Other swatches I have bought have been so limited in their colors. With these I have a wide range of colors and I have learned which colors of the winter pallet look best on me.

I bought this after taking a color theory class, and was a little dissapointed when I got it, because it seems the colors are different tones than the teachers was.
