Works exactly as expected.
This is to replace an existing one that after about 5 years stopped working. Apparently it's a thing that some component that always goes every few years. They do sell the part as a spare part in America but not in Australia. So you need to buy all new one. Please note that you still have to buy an internal display or another module to do the online side of it.

Great replacement for broken sensor
Replaced an older AcuRite weather sensor that was beyond repair. The dual solar panel/fan makes the outdoor temperature more accurate. The original unit was always 10 deg higher than the actual temp. Checked the rain measurement against independent rain gauge and no adjustment was required. It paired right away to the indoor display

IL a remplacé l'ancien qui ne fonctionnait plus après 3 ans. IL a suffit de le remplacer et de faire le lien dans la station météo et il fonctionnait.

It works
Got it to replace one that i had for 12 years. It's nice that this has Two solar panels for the fan. My old one the data sent was off a lot, and it had lived out on the pole through hailstorms and harsh winters. the new one looks so white. I had forgot just how white they are. I got his at a great price, had to reset my receivers, which is a no brainer. Works very well.

Pairing a new sensor with old monitors….MUST READ!
This is my third Iris, but the first in the Pro+ series. My old one was about 4 years old, and I noticed after I moved across the country, when I set it all up, the outdoor temperature reading went too high in the sun. Sure enough, the little fan the solar panels run, was not working. It was all pretty well worn, so I opted to get a new sensor and keep my two color monitors that worked fine before. I read where others could not get the old monitors to pair. DISCOVERY: Not only must you make sure they are on the same channel (which I did and they would not pair). I decided to switch from channel C, and put my two and the new sensor on channel A. Still no pair. I finally did this, and it worked like a champ: I had the new sensor in and set. Ready to go. Then on my monitors, I have the kind that have a plug in and three aaa batteries. I unplugged them, took a battery out, so it was all dead, then put the batteries back in, and plugged the adaptor in. Within about a minute, all the outside readings appeared. All I had to do was set dates and time, and choose lighting and other parameters on the monitor. So, all was good and I repeated the same at the other monitor. Other than that little step missed in the instructions and any FAQs or troubleshooting notes.
