These are so much nicer and brighter than traditional bulbs! They function just as intended, and seem to have no problem with the heat of the stove top. The color is nice white color, compared to the more traditional yellowish. Had no problem with it fitting, and I would say the value of these are quite good.

I just installed the E17 bulbs in my GE over the range microwave oven. So far they work well on both high and low setting, and give off plenty of light. Durability is yet to be determined.

These are a good incandescent lamp replacement on the over the range microwave and last MUCH longer than OEM light. They do not get hot and use less power. With this microwave the light goes dim but not off which makes for a night light. Provides decent lighting for the stove top.

I bought these to replace the original equipment halogen bulb under a Whirlpool Model WMH310017AS-1 microwave, and these replacement 5-watt E17 base dimmable LED bulbs are far superior to the 40-watt halogen bulb that came from the factory. The bulb that came with our microwave was alway kind of dim and gave a sickly yellow light. I photograph food cooking on the cooktop ocassionally, and the Whirlpool microwave's halogen bulb was just kind of inadequate. I had to use filters to make the food look the way it actually looks. More importantly, my low-light vision is getting to be more of an issue as I've grown older, and I am now using reading glasses for the distances involved in stovetop cooking. Whether it's the glasses or just the old age, I have begun to wish I had more light on the cooktop. When the microwave's halogen bulb burned out on me, I had another one around and replaced it and cleaned the lens over the bulb. Frankly, it was still just about the same. Recalling how I've been replacing bulbs in my work areas with daylight-colored LED bulbs, I jumped on Amazon to see if such are made for appliances. Well, they are . . . but a lot of them aren't dimmable - and my microwave has both high and low settings for the stovetop light bulb. So, I searched some more and found this dimmable E17-base (what my microwave requires, according to the manual) LED bulb set in the 6000K natural daylight color that I like in bulbs in my work areas. The price was right for the pair and the LED bulb only requires 5 watts to replace what halogen requires 40 watts to do - yay. Less power to buy, less surplus heat generated inside my microwave. Plus, the LED bulbs should last a lot longer. I specifically chose this set because it claimed to throw 450 lumens - almost 50% more light than the OEM halogen bulb put out. Well, they weren't lying. I wish I'd taken comparison photos, but this LED bulb easily screwed into the E17 socket and really delivers the mail. My cooktop is notably easier to see and the light color is neutral like that of daylight, not the yellow of halogen. The bulb works fine at the half-power dimmed setting, too. This is going to be one of those tiny purchases that makes life far better than the inexpensive cost would indicate. And it's a two-pack, so I have a spare! I doubt I'll need it in the lifetime of this microwave, but I have other appliances that use E17 bases.

Used one of these in my GE over the range microwave/hood. It was bright and the dimming worked (high and low brightness settings). Unfortunately, it's 4 years later and it's dead already. I don't turn it on all that much and definitely don't leave it on for long when I do. I also can't find the second one so I'll be buying a different kind of bulb to replace this one.

These dimmable LED appliance replacement bulbs worked great for replacing the extremely hot (and not very bright) incandescent bulbs on the underside of my LG over-the-range microwave oven. Being dimmable, they work perfectly with the different intensity settings without flickering. They are much brighter than the old bulbs, use far less power and don't get hot like the old bulbs. Definitely worth every penny.

Have been exceptionally pleased with these bulbs for my over the range microwave. Previous bulbs from another seller would not shut all the way off, and also flickered on the low setting. After checking reviews and realizing these were designated as dimmable I wanted to give them a try. These shut off all the way, and low and bright settings are just right to nicely brighten the stovetop to see while cooking. And no flickering! Very pleased with quality of product as well. Can't comment yet on how long they last, but so far very happy with these. Recommended!

The 40 watt appliance bulb went on our microwave. I could only find a 25 watt replacement in my area. There were also no LED bulbs with the correct base available. The TAIYALOO E17 LED came to the rescue. Works great and fits the space available. It is an LED bulb, so should last longer than the incandescent bulbs that seem no longer to be available. I recommend this bulb.

Liked that the bulbs are energy efficient and therefore should save money. I do fine, however, that when the Microwave light is set on the 'low' feature, that the light is really low, hardly discernable. That being said, when the light is set to the 'higher' feature, the light is a nice sharp bright white.~~~

This cobb led bulb replaces the stock incandescent bulb. Fits easily and produces a whiter light. It works with my microwave's step dimmer and uses 1/8 the amount of power the OEM bulb uses.
