Kate Farm are the life saver for my husband. He has pancreatic cancer and his doctor put the J-tube for helping the nutrition. After, the Whipple procedure and went through chemo and radiations. Kate Farms peptide 1.5 is easy for his body to tolerated and done with his treatment. He got others the nutrition that the insurance covered it, but it made him sick. I found out from internet that it was friendly for who has cancer and not easy for them to tolerate nutrition. The price is so high, but the quality is higher. If you able to pay for please don't hesitant to try or ask your Dietitians and healthcare professionals.

Before I get too far into this review, I must admit that I am not all that familiar with a lot of different protein shakes formulated for those with more severe medical issues. Nor have I tried many. This review is based solely on drinking this and not taking intravenously. The first thing that popped out to me even before trying this out is that it contains organic hydrolyzed pea protein. Fine for most, I would assume, but I would suspect that you should consult with your doctor if you tend to suffer from gout since I know that peas can irritate gout. Maybe it's fine, but it does have me wondering. Of course, anyone with more severe medical conditions that warrant taking something like this on a regular basis should always talk with their doctor regarding any sort of food like this. Having reached my senior years and having occasional days where I just don't want to bother much with food, I knew that this might be a good hold me over until I'm up for eating more food. This way I'm sure to get my basic nutritional intake. Based on early consumption, I can't say that it's anything that I'd want to live on, but there might come a day when that might make it necessary to do so. Most likely, after the expiration date of this pack, but at least I'll be ready for another case if that time comes. Have to admit that I did feel perkier and more energized after consumption. Not at all a jittery energy, but more vital and healthy. Regarding the drinking experience itself, I can't say that I really cared for it all that much. It's not awful, but not what I would think of as a delightful treat. In some ways, it reminded me of eggnog which I like, but without the eggs or extra sweetness. I could taste a bit of the vanilla, but it's not heavy. There is some thickness to this which being a milky type product, did make me thirsty after drinking. But all milky beverages do that to me. It's like I need to wash it away. What I disliked the most is that I could taste a metallic sort of taste as though it had been sitting in a can for a long time. Yet, it comes in a waxed box and was well within its expiration date. Though I don't know the reason why, I'm wondering if it's because of one of the vitamins in this which there are plenty of. The only way that I could get passed this was to add some cinnamon powder to mine. Tasted much better that way and I got to add some cinnamon to my diet. I highly suggest doing so if you can take cinnamon and are drinking this through your mouth.

I started EEN nutrition program with Kate Farms Peptide. I was hesitant because of the price but I chose this product because it’s plant based. Unfortunately I had to stop after two days. I got a terrible diarrhea and was feeling really sick.
