Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was in need of a flush to convert my 1993 Ford F-150 AC system from R12 to R134a. The desiccant bag broke, cloggedy orifice tube and deposited some desiccant in the condenser and evaporator. So I was not only concerned with removing all the R12 oil that isn’t necessarily well received by R134a oil, but my primary concern was to get rid of the residual desiccant. It packed so tightly into the orifice tube that it looked like mud. About the only thing I wish I had done was purchase more of this flush, because it was a somewhat tedious and messy job. This product performed well and cleaned up pretty easily. I would definitely purchase again if I had to perform the same task.

Worked as advertised. Smells like orange citrus. Just make sure u vacuum the hell out of the system afterwards to boil off the remaining residue. I couldn't believe how much oil and crap came out of the original evaporator core. I prob could have used 3 bottles of this stuff. However, the one was all i got, and it was good enough. Next time id rather just replace the evaporator instead of flushing it. But u live and u learn. The evaporator and the lines were the only things i had to flush, everything else was new. If u got more parts than that to flush, better get 2 bottles. All i did was pour some into the line, and blow it thru with compressed air. As many times as i could until i ran out of flush. U can only pour in so much at a time until the line fills up. Repeat until its gone.
