Exactly what I was looking for
Love these silicone molds, I was looking for a pre-made silicone mold for making uv resin keycaps and these work great. They fit perfectly on my cherry and gateron switches. The only thing I don't like is that it's difficult to center the backs of the keycaps perfectly. I also initially struggled with filling each corner of the keycap because of the way the extra resin spills over and creates a divot when you place the back piece on top. To fix that, I simply place a weight on top before I cure it (I use a silicone popsicle stick), then I cure for a minute, take off the popsicle stick, and if there's still divots, I fill them in with more resin and continue curing. Works perfectly every time! No more divots in my keycaps.

Make sure you know what kind of board you have
These work perfectly fine. Zero issues. But you will want to know if you have MX-compatible stems on your board, and you'll want to make sure you understand what your keycap profile is. These molds make OEM profile Cherry MX keycaps. If that isn't for you, look elsewhere.

Not Very Beginner-Friendly
I was excited to try these resin keycap molds, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The molds are not very user-friendly, especially if you're newer to working with UV resin. I found it difficult to get consistent results from one mold to the next, even when using the same process. Because of the inconsistencies, I ended up wasting quite a bit of UV resin trying to correct defects and remake keycaps that didn't turn out properly. Resin isn't cheap, so that added up quickly. The molds themselves aren't terrible, and more experienced resin artists may have better luck with them, but I expected a smoother experience and more reliable results. Overall, they worked, but not well enough for me to justify the extra time, frustration, and wasted materials.

Spacebar is wonk
You can clearly see in the mold of the spacebar that it is skinnier on one side. It really sucks because the molds cast great, resin came out of the molds super easy but when you put the spacebar on a keyboard it just looks a bit wonky with one side being skinnier than the other

Awesome starting point to practice
The quality and casts of these molds are really good. Some of the larger keys can get wobbly on the edges because the silicone is thinner, but bracing the sides with something helps. It can be tricky to center the back pieces but not impossible. (the trick is to fill the switch part first and let it harden before adding to the main key mold. After a bit of practice you learn how far up to fill the molds to get a good cast with the backs. If you want colors or patterns to stay put, then work in layers, the backs will disturb whatever patter you create if you do it all in one go. Over all, great value, lots of fun to use and play with. If you want to get serious with making these on a larger scale, look at getting a slab mold instead. Otherwise, this is totally a great buy!

Be careful with this Mold Set- Inspect it First
I bought one of these sets back in 2023 and just recently started using it. It had been sitting in a ziplock bag for years but just recently when I started using it, it was fine. I noticed a few rough/dull spots but they weren't that bad and the mold held up despite it being old. Due to me overpouring it and curing it too full and then pulling it out of the mold that way, I tore one of the molds so I bought two new ones to replace it. This was the first mold I have ever torn btw, I'm usually very careful. They arrived yesterday but I inspected these new sets and noticed they looked TERRIBLE. The insides of them were dull, scratched, and in some areas looked as if they were melted somehow. I'm not keeping these new ones. I'm trying to get a replacement for one to see if it's better because I do like working with the one I bought years ago, from this exact listing (despite the minimal dull spots in my original and what appears to be 3D printer lines). Just be careful if you buy this set, make sure to inspect it first. And if you overpour your UV Resin/Epoxy and cure it (because that's a bit required with these keycaps), be extremely careful when you demold it- the molds are fragile.
