Are these just muslin strips to use with a wax product or do they have the wax in them?

They do not have wax in them. They are to be used with a wax product. I use them with Moom Organic Hair Removal Kit With Lavender (for extra senstive skin). I've used both products since 2008 and both products are excellent.

I was expecting the browner cloth. will these work just as good with leg waxes and bikini lines if i use the gigi honee wax?

I think these work great - with Gigi waxes and other waxes. I have used the browner strips (which are more of a cloth, less of a paper which is what these more look like) and I prefer these. I use them for leg, bikini, underarm, face.

can you use these for your face

I believe so. But I suggest cutting them into smaller pieces to make them more manageable.

Too small. Should be labeled as micro instead of mini. Loved the Gigi muslin I had before and was hoping to find them. These are not cloth.
