Portable light for unusual situations.
This provides good light for small projects, especially when working at a table. Portable, no need to plug in. Have yet to see how long the batteries last, but, for temporary additional lighting for close work, this works well.

Bright light using the adapter
I bought this lamp to use while crocheting with very thin thread. I needed additional lighting to see the small stitches especially when using dark colors. This lamp does the trick. I also bought the ac adapter after reading many of the reviews. I have not used it with batteries yet. It is very lightweight and compact so it should be good to use traveling. As someone else wrote in their review the front was scratched but this is probably because of the way it is packaged. I was looking for a lamp that does not give off any heat. Since it is LED there is no heat. The light from this lamp is actually brighter than some high intensity lamps that I have.

Makes a difference
This portable lamp is easier to see with & you can tell the light is different from regular lamps.I have to use it longer to tell how long batteries will last but I will purchase another one of this lamp.
