AWESOME FOR TRANSITION and MANUALS
THIS IS AWESOME! I have this installed on a transition setup. It works well to protect the tail. It would be great on setups that you want to use to practice manuals. It does prevent razor tail. It makes ollies harder for sure.

Save A Tree
No more trimming down the tail of my wooden deck! I don’t mind shaving this tail bone down, it’s replaceable, but lasts me a while. Nice colors, went on easy, and makes my butt look smaller.

Good Quality Materials & Design - might have to adjust mounting system screws to accommodate..
Great quality plastic, although slight elevated price. There's issue, at times, with the mounting system they use. Namely, they have three screw holes on the piece which you screw from the bottom and into the board. This can cause an issue of breaching the grip tape at the top if you go a bit too far for whatever reason. Also, depending on the type wood your board is made of, you may have issues with how well the screws hold - meaning, the threads might have been better if they were a bit more coarse, deep, and spaced apart than they are currently.. Lastly, as the screws come in from the bottom and have their heads there as well, at some point you'll be riding those screws through/when using the tail bone. Lastly, you may find yourself sawing off a portion of the ends (at sides), if the width of your board is narrower than 8" - measure or get your saw unless you want some kind of Batmobile wings hanging over the side

Saved my Board
I’m happy with this purchase. My board started to get razor tailed but this has helped a lot to prolong the tail. I’ve installed it on a YOW La Jolla and it’s the perfect fit not ideal for smaller boards. Make sure you have a drill and screwdriver handy for installation and follow the instructions carefully.
