Makes Watering My Flowers So Easy!
I have several hoses in use during the spring and summer. What a pain it is to have to go back and turn off the water at the house just to change a hose! Problem solved! These Eden quick connects and shut offs make these changes convenient and are so easy to do. I can change hoses, add hoses, change out nozzles, etc with these kits and not end up soaking wet or hot, sweaty and bothered! I add one shut off and one male fitting at each hose end. I can break and add any thing at any place. It saves a lot of time and frustration. My connections never leak. The quick connect part "locks" so it will not come apart while you are dragging a hose across the garden or yard. I can change a nozzle with long watering wand or other implement. Each implement gets a male end. The end of my hose gets a quick connect with a shut off. It is easy and saves me from spending time doing repetitious tasks in the hot sun. I can get my garden tasks done quickly and enjoy my garden at the same time. I like Eden products because they are good quality products. They last and work as advertised. I recommend these Eden products.

Great For The Boat Too
These are the best hose connectors of used by far. The actually work easy to use and don't leak. The best thing about them is the don't corrode. I use them on my saltwater fishing boat for washdown hose and they work great. Easy to connect to raw water faucet and hose and have to had any issues with build or corrosion. Makes using the use a snap, no pun intended, rather than have to stuggle with screwing the hose on to the faucet. Oh they also work great around the house and again no corrosion and they don't leak. A little pricey but they certainly are worth it compared to any of the metal ones I've ever used. They truly 5* connectors.

Works great, quick connections with no-leak shut off
Have had these on my RV for over a year now and am very impressed. Yes, they are made of plastic; however, they work better than some brass ones I tried using on our garden hoses. The brass ones had some internal corrosion that prevented them from releasing after one season - I'm talking fused. So I thought I'd try these and have been very impressed. The shut off works well and the only leaks I've seen are at the water spigot connections. I'm okay with a few drips as I didn't want to over tighten. The shut off "feels" like it's made of plastic - which it obviously is - but works flawlessly. As good as a brass ball valve. Using these in conjunction with some brass elbows have made water connections on the RV water panel fast and secure. Don't know how long they will last, but so far, longer than better made brass ones I've tried before. The value for the cost is tremendous and I've not noticed any restrictions on water flow.

Outclasses the Competition
If you’re like me, you’ve tried multiple adapters over the years, metal and plastic, brand name and not, cheap and expensive, and resigned yourself to poor connectivity, excessive water restriction, rust, breakage, lasting one season (if that), and using tools in fruitless efforts to control leaks. They often fail due to low-quality seals and/or threads, poor design, cheap plastic (breakage), cheap metal (corrosion) and/or manufacturing defects. We didn’t expect much from these, especially given the bargain pricing and unfamiliarity w/Eden products. But we needed adapters and decided to try them after reading reviews and noting they include shut-off valves, as it’s a time-consuming annoyance traveling back and forth to shut off and then turn the water back on to switch the hose between sprinklers and hand sprayer. And 3 sets mean I don't have to transfer adapters between multiple hoses, hose bibs, sprinklers, and hand sprayers. OBSERVATIONS - Mo Gain, Less Pain: There’s enough that I can cover the our hose bib, 2 sprinklers, a hand sprayer, and connect my 2 hoses together w/one male connector left over. Don’t need 3 sets? Extras serve as handy back-ups in case you roll over w/lawn mower or a neighbor steals them. Or you can just give a set to the neighbor (or friend, or extended family to try out). - Mo for the Money: even if they last no more than one season they’re a deal compared to the price of competitors for this many connectors (and few competitors offer shut-off valves or locks). However, these are holding up fine for next year. - Superior Seals and Threads: no leaks/drips on any connection other than the cheap hose bib that came w/the house, which drips no matter what is attached to it. Furthermore, other than that POS, no tools were necessary for the other attachments (finger-tightening was sufficient). - Easy Connections and Disconnections (w/sure-sounding clicks). - Shut-off Valves: operate smoothly and completely shut off the water. - Higher Quality Pieces: I haven’t come across tougher plastic, inc. name brands. And these include rubberized, textured finger grips for sure and easy connects/disconnects. - Locks: quick-connect adapters include a simple twist lock to avoid accidental disconnects under pressure. Indicators show locked/unlocked positions. So far we haven’t identified anything we don’t like. In our experience w/countless adapters over decades, these are the only ones deserving of a 5-star rating and review. We can’t say your experience will be the same, or that they will last forever, but we’ve found the quality and pricing unmatched and will be giving other Eden products consideration for our lawn care needs going forward. TIPS - If a connection constantly leaks try multiple adapters to first determine if the issue is the adapter or what it's connected to. The source of leaks can be debris, corroded metal, defective threads, a seal that is poor quality, become hardened over time, or that's crooked/not properly set, or hard water mineral build-up. - Hard water mineral build-up on seals and in threads (adapters, sprinklers, hand sprayers, hoses, hose bibs) will inevitably cause leaks over time. Replacing seals or soaking them and threaded parts in vinegar and using a brush (e.g., old toothbrush or pipe cleaning brush) can eliminate this type of leak.

I bought these to replace some expensive brass quick connects
I bought these to replace some expensive brass quick connects. I thought the brass ones would be better, but they turned out to be a PITA. With the brass ones, it took both hands on the quick connect to either connect or disconnect from the hose or faucet. Finally got tired of the hassle and threw them in the trash. These seem to be of good quality. The will leak a little if you apply pressure perpendicular to the connector, but they all do that. It is great that all the faucet connectors are female and all the hose connectors are male. Some sellers make you accept both genders of each connector type. Once you settle on female for the faucet and male for the hose, that is all you want. Having the other genders just complicates things and leads to surprises. Oh, one negative thing. The built in reverse flow stopper is useless and it restricts the 5/8 inch flow down to 3/8 inch. However, a few taps with a hammer and a screw driver and the reverse flow stopper knocks out cleanly.

My goto brand!
A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. These are reliable, have endured harsh winters below zero temperatures outside all season long and come summer still works well. They Don't leak. The seals stay nice and tight all year round. At end of day, These will Save on your waterbill! These will be my 3rd purchase! Need more for above ground sprinkler application. I bought from other brands for far less offering more bang for your buck but were major fails in that they they leaked from the quick connect when you had the valve closed. The Edens so far have been the only brand not to leak.

Quality Product with Easy, Leak-Free Operation
I love these things. No leaks! They’re great to put on the ends of your hose so you can disconnect a sprayer without getting soaked yourself. Just turn the valve off, pop the quick disconnect loose, and then turn the valve back on to use it as a regular hose. I like using these when connecting to my pressure washer too to avoid leakage at that connection and make it easier to set up and tear down. I also use these on my Freeze Miser (spigot thermostatic valve to prevent pipe freezing) because the Freeze Miser has horrible quality, soft female threads that easily get cross threaded and ruined. So instead of a direct connection to the metal spigot threads, I put one of these in between. The plastic quick disconnect threads are much lower risk of damaging the Freeze Miser plastic threads, and I can hold it in my hands comfortably to take my time and get it done right. Then once it’s done, I never have to unthread and rethread it again; I just use the quick disconnect if I need to remove it.

As good as the best
I have received these connections. I put them on check them out. No leaks turned full pressure on. It didn’t fly apart like other people said I don’t know what kind of water pressure they have but mine did not blow apart. As far as I’m concerned, these are as good as any of the top line ones that I have used in the past I would buy them anytime.

Pleasantly surprised
They seem really good so far. The plastic seems a little cheap so will see how they hold up long-term. Even with hose on full hardly get a drop of water when switching connectors. Really easy locking mechanism too. Surtprising feature - the swivel really helps keep the hose from kinking.
