Excellent price / product ratio
So for once a horse treat product that makes sense. This is a 20 lbs bag for $20. It makes sense as horses are big animals, they go through treats quickly; paying $10-15 for a few treats just doesn’t cut it. This one does. This product is qualitative, quantitative and price wise exactly what I was looking for. The horses like this treat; they are motivated by it. Again you buy 20 ponds; it’s a big bag. And the price is wonderful for an always stretched horse owner’s wallet. A $/pound - I wish there were more horse treats for this price. The individual treat size varies a bit but is perfect for use as a training reward and it actually smells like apples. The treats are hard though, so not suitable for the older fellows lacking teeth. Another con is that because the bag is quite big it gets banged around quite a bit by Amazon’s delivery attempts so that the treat pieces break and crumble… so depending on how your package was treated you may have more or less crumbles. Horses don’t mind it though, so leave it till the end and feed it over apple slices. Highly recommend this find to all fellow horse enthusiasts.

Horses Heard “Apple” and Came Running
Opened the bag and suddenly I’m very popular. Apple smell = instant horse meeting. Crunchy, not dusty, and gone in seconds. Great size bag—lasts a while (unless your horse has opinions). Feels good knowing they’re getting vitamins and minerals with the treat. Perfect for training, bonding, or just being the favorite human. Would absolutely buy again.

My dogs Love them!
Hear me out.. I used to take horseback lessons and my dog loved the horse treats. My roommate has taken to feeding them treats (very often!), so I grabbed a bag thinking they'd be a bit healthier and cheaper than dog treats and Wow! Dogs love them, my older girl has actually slimmed up a bit and she loves the flavor! Can't beat that! Even for dogs, lol

My mare likes them (so do my goats lol)
I really need to pay more attention to package sizes - I somehow ordered a huge bag! That’s ok…now I won’t need to order any for at least 3 months lol. My mare enjoys them, although at 31 she does have some difficulty chewing them. They are hard treats so keep that in mind for older horses. My (very picky) goats would happily maul me for these treats!
