No. Shrews are carnivores. They eat bugs. Rats, voles, mice and Groundhogs are herbivores- Think vegetarian. They will eat your garden. To get rid of shrews you would need a different kind of bait, like mole bait- But honestly I would leave the shrews, because they are not going to hurt you or your yard or your garden
