UNDER ARMOUR Replacement Rise Lid Black

The original lids for these Under Armour vacuum bottles were very fragile. While they sealed well and were easy to use, they broke very easily. I replaced them many times with the same fragile lids, which broke again.Finally, these lids, which use a different design, became available. They seem to have eliminated the problems inherent in the original design. This new design seals well and appears to be less susceptible to cracking, which was the downfall of the original design. Time will tell, but I like the new lid. It is not quite as easy to carry as the original lid because it is slightly more difficult to unleash the carrying ring, but that is a minor complaint. The sealing mechanism is sturdy and does not leak. That is the most important feature, in my opinion.

Been using the Under Armour bottles for at least 10 years and only need to replace because the outside gets worn and tired. Recently, the lids are not of the same quality as in the beginning and crack or springs/connections break. I ordered this lid as a "backup" just for a reserve lid. Sure enough the very first time I used on a trip, the plastic lid cracked therefore does not keep my water cold! Very disappointed in the quality and already on the hunt for a new brand!

I have a 10 year old Under Armour water bottle that is very chipped and dented from heavy daily use. It still keeps ice for 2 days so I keep using it. I’ve dropped it on concrete and tile many times and two of the original type of lids have finally be beaten to the point of being unserviceable. I was concerned this new design would be inferior, but it’s not. It still has a carrying loop I require, has no straw which I prefer too, and doesn’t leak. It ticks all my boxes for ease of use and convenience. It’s easy to clean and fill thanks to being strawless.

Good solid replacement cap. Does not release with a spring like movement and requires physically opening which might requie two hands.

Don’t buy this. I replaced an old style of lid with this one for an under armor water bottle I had for years. The quality of these lids has gone downhill significantly. While it does fit, it’s has many problems. First the seal will occasionally come loose when you screw on the lid, leading to the bottle leaking until you reset the seal. Then, the spring broke, making it not pop open on its own like it’s supposed to. Finally, the latch broke, making the lid worthless. I decided to buy a different water bottle, and Amazon wouldn’t refund the cot of this lid (it lasted 6 months) because it was “outside the return window”.

It fits some of their older water bottles! I've had this bottle for about 10 years and the previous cap (clear white plastic cap on top part) kept getting nasty mold on the clear rubber part (not the best design), although to be fair I didn't clean it as regularly as I should. Anyway this new cap is a better design (will still break if this thing takes a fall the wrong way), but it functions better and has better water flow. The folding carry hook is also an improvement in the design.The only con, which is due to my older bottle, is that the front of the cap doesn't line up with the front of the bottle, but who cares...Bonus points for the cap looking like a cool Sci Fi warrior helmet! 5 stars

Much better than original design.

I can't believe I'm ordering my 3rd-4th one of these. They are really great when new. So great, that I keep ordering more to keep mine in like-new condition, but dang their longevity is pretty awful.The design is awesome. They seal perfectly and the lock has saved me from spills numerous times. The integrated, fold-away handle is also awesome. It's probably the lowest profile lid that has a handle, at least the most compact one I can find. And for the most part, it's durable and doesn't break when dropped.Now the reason I keep having to buy new ones- the spring that pops the lid open only lasts a few months, at least when you use it every day like I do. Under Armor just can't seem to figure out how to keep their lids popping open for too long. The older style Under Armor lids I used used a rubber band/o-ring to give the lid spring. It would always break too. The good thing about those was that it was fairly easy to replace the rubber when it broke. When I first got one of these and seen that they moved to metal springs to pop open the lid, I was excited thinking they would last longer. I was wrong. I'm pretty sure the metal springs on these lids go bad before the rubber on the old ones did.I hate it that I need to keep replacing these because of one little part. I guess I should see if I can just replace the spring, but considering they're not too expensive I guess I'll just continue buying new ones every few months.

Perfect replacement for the top that I broke. It is an UnderArmour bottle and the Beyond model. This top is better built and allows me to keep using the metal bottle. Price was reasonable as well. Would recommend this product in a heartbeat.

Melhor que o modelo anterior da Under Harmour.Encaixes perfeitos e parece ser mais robusta, tanto que comprei outra para ter como reserva.O preço está muito bom também.
