Fun and durable portable chopsticks.
These chopsticks are wonderful. I tend to pick up food on my way to work and got these to throw in my backpack. They work really well and look really cool when you extend them quickly. It also feels nice having reusable utensils at the ready. They are also super easy to clean. Just twist off the top and all 3 segments disconnect and can be washed (I only hand wash them). I don't usually keep them in the provided bag because it's too big for one pair. I can also put them in my bag or pocket and they easily survive. Design-wise, they are a little shorter than standard chopsticks when fully extended and very light-weight. The way they taper also means it's a bit harder to pick up smaller pieces of food. I would definitely consider picking these up again if I needed multiple pairs for travel. Great value for the money.

would purchase again, but...
reusable, effective and exceptional for travel/hiking, etc. Don't know why people are having it collapse when eating. Just don't jam it into bottom of container walls or dense foods. Fantastic for noodles, which I plan on eating during hiking/trips, when a Titanium Spoon wouldn't work as nice. MY ONLY COMPLAINT: is it doesn't weigh more. Ha! It is almost like holding air, so takes a little time to figure how to work it. Small trade off for travel and eating benefits. EDIT: It’s lightweight design and grippiness makes wooden-chopsticks seem inferior. VERY PLEASED!

Great travel option, case could be improved
For reference, I own many pieces of titanium, including non-collapsing chopsticks. I travel very frequently and these are great to have on hand. The length is good, the quality is there, my only gripe is the functionality. You have to twist and pull very firmly in order to get the chopsticks to stay elongated and not have a segment collapse on you. I can’t think of a better way to secure the segments, threads to screw would most likely fail over time and probably drive the price up substantially. All in all, I’m happy with them and appreciate how small they pack up. I do wish for a different case, a simple hard shell case would be preferred, the bag is sloppy and oversized.

collapsible chopsticks very lightweight and compact
Each chopstick could be collapsed into 3 pieces. Being hollow tapered titanium tubes, these pieces are very lightweight and compact, and could be stored in the shirt pocket. They could be brought into use very quickly and easily, just by pulling the collapsed pieces out so that the friction hold them in places. The pulling action must however be forceful enough so that they won't collapse in use. In the first photo, it could be seen that they are indeed shorter than the ordinary chopsticks. In the second photo, the cloth storage pouch is shown side by side. One chopstick is shown in the extended situation, the other in the collapsed situation. A thin plastic sheath is also shown which I will usually used without the pouch for being minimalist to suit storage in the shirt pocket.

They work I guess
Ok so I got these for noodles, rice and maybe other things. They are durable yes, and easy to clean but they are not meant to handle food heavier than the utensils themselves by much as they are very lightweight; and when I tried to use it to eat, after a few minutes they will come loose and be retractable as I even tried being careful to not accidentally poke them tip-end into something. I also tried pulling them out with some strength to hope they set in place but eventually after a few bites they become loose again. If you are using them purely for noodles sure they would be fine maybe, but normal eating not so much. You're better off getting the screw on 2 piece travel ones if you want some chopsticks for more general use.

Excited to try. - edit love them!
I always have travel silverware and chopsticks with me. Always. These will hit right in. Can’t wait to try them. They seem to together tight enough to work. So this style is much better than the type that come in two pieces and you screw together. This style is much better!
