I got it in the champagne color. The color was very nice. The fabric is very smooth and feels nice and cool against my neck. It is very comfortable to lay on. The zipper is concealed on the side of the pillow. I haven't washed it yet but will probably wash it by hand when its time.

It’s been years, so let’s give a brief history. I initially bought a different brand of silk pillow case, but it didn’t hold up well. It snagged in the laundry leaving it functional but imperfect. The silk was poor quality. I decided I deserved a good quality silk pillow case, so I searched and found these. I bought my first one three years ago. The quality of the silk is excellent. I machine wash and dry them in regular loads with bedding and they seem to be getting more luxurious with each wash. I love them so much, I treat myself to a new one every now and then. I’m writing this review after having received my seventh pillow case. The first one I bought is still being used and is in beautiful condition… and just to be clear, I always use a silk pillow case, no matter which sheet/blanket combo is on my bed. I use a silk case and hubs uses cotton. If you’re going for aesthetics, simply buy in multiples of two. You’re worth it!

I got two of these and they are great. Keeps my hair from being a frizz head in the morning. Priced reasonable compared to other mulberry silk pillowcases. Beautiful colors to choose from and keeps me cool when sleeping. This will not be my last purchase.

I hang it to dry. It's very soft, does show sweat, skin/hair oil, I wash mine weekly and so far no issues with it. Does it help with night sweats/cooling? I don't feel the difference. It zips so pillow stays inside the case lol great for hair, better than bonnet in my opinion. Wish it was a set. Beautiful color and packaging. I got the burnt orange.

Bought these as a replacement for previous mulberry silk pillowcases that I had to discard after a natural disaster. These pillowcases are soft, feel great on the skin. The only issue is one came with a snag, and another snagged within the first week. My previous pillowcases didn't snag and help up after a lot of rigorous handwashing. We'll see how long these last!

UPDATE April 19, 2025 -- DO NOT USE VERY WARM OR HOT WATER to wash your silk pillow case! I wasn't paying attention to the hot water tap. The water starts off cold and gradually the temperature rises. By the time I turned off the hot water tap, the water was very warm to almost hot. A bit of the beautiful grayish blue colour leached out! The horror! UPDATE April 3, 2025. - I have been using this since my first order arrived. It has cut down on my allergies from my cotton pillow. My face does not itch anymore. My sinusitis is almost gone. I love this so much I ordered and received my 6 King size pillow cases from which I will remove the zippers and stuff with cotton or feathers to make a comforter. Simply FABULOUS! I hand wash by using a small amount of liquid detergent, swishing and not rubbing and, hanging to dry. It's easy to care for to prolong the longevity of the silk! I love this so much that I'm seriously thinking of buying 12 more of this grayish blue silk pillow case to make a comforter! My pillow is so inviting to rest my weary head. The colour and feel simply soothe the soul.

I bought them because as I have got older and gone grey the top layer of my hair has become frizzy. I read that silk pillowcases do not damage your hair.. so far I have definitely seen a difference so the high cost of them has been worth it.
