Wonderful story for preschool age children. I read this book with my preschoolers and they were engaged and loved being able to help read the numbers and count.

Amazing, Clever Book!!

An absolute must have for any children’s bookshelf
Bought for my daughters 5 and 2, they adore this book and it has become a bedtime favourite. An exciting and engaging story filled with wonderful illustrations which any age child will enjoy. This is not your normal counting book for toddlers, instead it engages children in a thrilling tale of chicken and fox suspense, in language suitable for older children (& adults) to enjoy. An absolute must have for any children’s bookshelf, we can’t wait for more books by this talented writer.

Engaging
I bought this to read with mu four year old granddaughter. She was engaged right from the start, the beautiful illustrations and the clever way in which in it helps children to learn to count, both recognising numbers and counting them together. There are even 100 hens on the very last page, of course we had to count every single one. She loves it and i would highly recommend this delightful book. Thank you .
