I love my Mophie Juice Pack battery case and wireless charging plate. Plural.I bought it for my iPhone6+ (1) after old OtterBox commuter case cracked, (2) then cracked display after going careless. Also, battery life declining. Figured extra battery and a somewhat protective case worth a few dollars.And... I love it! With the wireless charging pad on my desk, I found that I was keeping the phone charged up much more often, running out of battery much less. Just setting phone on charging pad much easier than having to plug cable in. (I use phone quite a lot during workday, all videoconference meeting audio goes through phone. Much picking up and putting down without plugging in cable.)I liked it enough that I bought a second case and charging pad. One for desk, one for bedside.But...I just started noticing an annoying sound while phone is on charging pad at my desk. Dit dit dit dit diddly dit ... repeating.All combinations of old/new charging pad and case have the same problem at my desk. Therefore not age of case/plate. Not at bedside. Anker USB 6 port charger. Swapped to other chargers, same problem. Unsure why I only hear at my desk rather than at bedside, possibly distance.Sound is annoying enough that I am starting to go back to cables.I hope that I can find a way to continue using the wireless charging pad at my desk without this annoying noise.

I have the iPhone 6S+, have had it for many years (since it first came out), and have been having worse and worse battery life, especially when using anything with heavy GPS use, such as Waze or Uber. Using those apps, my battery will go from 90% to 20% in just a few minutes, less than 10-15 minutes. Not exaggerating.I wanted an "always there" solution, and this was on sale and had good reviews. I appreciate the convenience of the wireless charging as well (it does pass-thru charging once/when the mophie battery is full). One downside is this effectively converts your lightning connector to a micro-USB connector, so you'll need a microUSB cable to do cabled syncing with iTunes or for any other cabled things you do with your lightning phone.This has a convenient "switch" that turns the mophie battery off or on, as well as a charge indicator. I keep it turned off 99% of the time. Then when I "need" the extra juice, like using the aforementioned apps, or if I'm away from a charger longer than normal, or have more calls than usual, I can flip the mophie switch on, and it effectively "charges" the iphone battery with the mophie battery. I'd estimate it has about the same effective capacity as my used internal iPhone 6s+ battery. I am also planning to replace my internal battery just to get a fresh battery there.From a "case" perspective, it also works great. I usually use an Otterbox Defender case on my phones, and this is as tough or tougher than those cases. Totally protects.This adds a bit of weight and size to your phone obviously. I mostly work from home, so I'm not carrying my phone around that much. However, compared to the Defender case, I would say it's roughly the same physical footprint, but it is definitely heavier than that case (obviously due to the battery).Highly recommend as both a protective case and an "emergency extra battery" in between charges.

I purchased the mophie juice pack and wireless charging base in early October 2018 for my husband's iPhone 6 plus to give to him as a gift for Christmas. I was aware that it was used, but in good condition, and it was in the original retail packaging. My husband had a mophie juice pack for his iphone 5s, and it was also purchased as a used item in good working condition and in original retail packaging. It was fully functional for the entire life of the iPhone 5s. When I ordered the mophie juice pack and charging base for the iPhone 6 plus I chose to order the used item because of the good experience with the previous purchase for the iPhone 5s, which was also purchased from this seller. When I received the mophie for the iPhone 6 plus I saw that it was indeed in the original retail packaging. Satisfied, I stowed away the unopened package until Christmas. When my husband opened the sealed package he discovered that the package contained only the the mophie juice pack. No charging base. No cord. Because the item was ordered in early October it was well beyond the eligible return time frame. No worries. We had a spare cord to use to charge the juice pack, and it worked fine. My husband began using the mophie Christmas Day in 2018. By mid-April of 2019 the mophie juice pack stopped working and charging. This is only after 3 1/2 months of use. I ordered another mophie juice pack and charging base, opting for new instead of used. Received it yesterday. All items that were supposed to be included were in the package. My husband charged it without any complications, and determined that it is in good working condition, at this time. Hopefully, it will hold up until my husband decides to upgrade to a newer phone in the next year or two.

Very great build quality as expected from Mophie. I noticed upon arrival that the product only charges the phone at 1amp instead of 2 so that’s something to note and which is why I have dropped a star.But overall I really like it as it extends my battery life over the day. The charging dock is a bit finicky and takes a little getting used to there have been a couple of days where I put it and it doesn’t charge and needs to be shifted around. But overall would def recommend if you aren’t planning on upgrading your phone soon as this is a big purchase for a case. I love the wireless charging capabilities

When turned on it will charge my iPhone 6 Plus from 1% to about 70%. The case does not use an iPhone charger but the smaller charger types used for BlackBerries. The charging pad is temperamental and the phone needs to be adjusted several times to ensure charging is taking place. The case is nice in appearance and does offer protection to your phone. I would probably not buy it again if I had to do it all over again.

Awful product. Loud whining noise when charging, loud ticking noise when case is charging phone. Only charges my 6S plus by about 40% as I can never charge it until all 4 LED’s are lit. Why have they used such an awful USB standard, non-reversible and it constantly disconnects and reconnects. The headphone extender for the aux is a three pin not 4 pin so even the standard Apple ones won’t work. Makes your phone way to big and heavy for such little power gain. Carrying around a 2m cable and battery pack is better in every single way. The wireless charging is slower than a 1 amp plug and if you want to charge and use our phone at the same time you’ll be plugged into the wall anyway. Hands down the worst and most annoying purchase I’ve ever made. How can something as simple as a case that charges your phone be executed so poorly.

Hülle passt perfekt, Verarbeitung super, das Material ist angenehm in der Hand und es schützt die Kanten und den Screen. ABER: Beim Laden pfeift es dermaßen, dass ich es nicht im Schlafzimmer benutzen kann. Selbst bei Ladung mit Kabel ist es zeitweise sehr laut, wie Tinnitus. Dasselbe passiert, wenn ich mein Handy mit der Schale auflade.Passend dazu hatte ich mir die Mophie Autohalterung gekauft, mit welcher das Laden noch schlechter ging. Die Verbindung hielt nur Sekundenbruchteile, und entlud das Handy noch schneller. Zudem ist mein 6s Plus zu schwer, das Gelenk fiel immer nach unten, egal wie fest es zugedreht war, so dass ich mein Handy nicht mehr ablesen konnte. Nach vier Wochen Mutzung habe ich es satt und sende es zurück. Ich werde die Ladeschale noch einmal versuchen, aber die Autohalterung wird eine andere.
