Very bright Just a replacement. But does well

The LEDs are blue-white (high color temperature) and pretty bright. Good if you need more light into the bottom of your glass object. Nicely finished box, but might scratch easily if object placed on it has rough surface. Power LED on wall adapter is quite bright, I kept thinking I'd forgotten to turn something off. I finally put some tape over the LED. I think you could paint out some of the LEDs with black enamel model paint if you wanted to create a smaller illuminated area. It'd be really nice if you could adjust the light level with a dimmer of some kind, but mine works fine as is. Illuminated area is 1 1/4" x 4" with a little black wood strip between the two rows of LEDs. Box is 6 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 1" - just right for my use!

This light is perfect for lighting up resin projects, such as my daughter’s wedding bouquet. It’s the final touch!

I am being awarded a 10" Westby Wedge and needed this base to illuminate it. Picture shows the base illuminating a clear plastic clock. Works well and is even a night light for the room. It is a little pricey for an LED light but I think it is worth it..

Does not stay on. Purchased this to illuminate a glass aquarium I had purchased in Italy. It worked for about 4 months and now won't stay on. For the cost it should last longer than 4 months. It's too bad because I really liked the way it worked.....when it did work.

I bought this to light a free form crystal that has a base this shape. With this many leds, the whole thing glows. Happy with this. If this company could make a version with rechargeable batteries that would be ideal.
