I put my new board in the bag (carefully since it was a new board) and strapped it on my car. I drove about 8 miles to the beach and when I got there, the wind had apparently caused the fin to cut right through the bag. On the way back, it cut through on the other side. The fabric is terrible quality. My son got one of the no name Chinese brand bags and it was a better quality fabric. Steer clear of this product regardless of the feel good advertising.

Finally tried it out and it seems well made but I guess time will tell. My guess is that most all board socks in this price range will be pretty similar. Fits the board real good. I would love to see a bit thicker padding at the nose and some kind of reinforcement at the tail (besides just the material). Even with this board sock on I guarantee if you drop the board on the hard ground it will probably ding but provides good protection if your more careful. Works fine in the bed of my truck (though I have a rubber bed protector). Overall it seems worth the money and will do its intended job. Also it was shipped super fast!
