What age is the cash register recommended for?

I'm not sure what the manufacturer recommends, but my toddlers ages 1-4 have loved it. There are no small pieces and it's a toy that is played with over and over again. I hope that helps :)

Has anyone been able to find replacement coins?

I found some for sale on ebay. But sometimes the seller wants quite a lot just for a few plastic coins. I wouldn't spend $10 for them. You can sometimes buy a whole cash register with coins cheaper than just buying the coins. I hope that helps. Look in your local used children's clothing and toys store.

The retro cash register coins are too big and when vertical, jam the change drawer! Could we get a refund or another one?

Contact seller or Amazon. If defective or within return window it should not be an issue. But this is the best one of this type... Little tikes coins get stuck, Melissa and Doug's version is wooden.
