Works great and seamless with SkyQ
Initially bought to extend and create a mesh network after moving away from Sky Broadband. A lot of forums discussed issues when using another ISP than Sky and it causing a lot of issues with their SkyQ boxes and having to make a lot of changes to settings including channel, frequencies and even connecting sky mini boxes via ethernet. However, the eeros have caused no such issues when using BT broadband, skyq boxes working seamlessly. No settings were changed on anything. The signal is great on all other devices, set up was extremely easy and the app allows to have a lot of insight into your network - and no more weak spots in the home. I also have the extender which works in harmony with the router. There are no drop outs when moving around zones in the home. The signal and speeds are strong providing a reliable personal mesh wifi network. The design is simple and clean. All in all, great value for money. Definitely recommend the product.

Excellent FTTP Service with Amazing Bonus Features!
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I am absolutely thrilled with the Ogi FTTP (Wales only) service, and the cherry on top is the inclusion of 2 eero 6 mesh routers along with the security package for free! Living in a home with solid walls, I was concerned about dead spots and connectivity issues, but these routers have performed flawlessly throughout my house. No more dead spots – it's a dream come true! The security suite is a game-changer. With features like ad blocking, malware and spyware scans, and comprehensive parental controls including app and site blocking, it provides peace of mind for my family's online activities. And let me tell you, you can indeed access the full functionality of these routers, contrary to what some skeptics might say. They work like a charm, and I'm thoroughly impressed. Setting up the system was a breeze, and I particularly love the option to create a guest connection for visitors that can be easily wiped afterwards. What's more, all my Amazon products integrate seamlessly with this setup, and even my Hive home hub works fantastically well. I haven't encountered any issues so far, and when combined with the top-notch service from the FTTP provider, it's a major upgrade from our previous BT products. I'm delighted to recommend the Ogi FTTP service with the eero 6 mesh routers and security package. It's a true winner in terms of performance, security features, and user-friendliness. If you're looking for a reliable, comprehensive, and hassle-free solution for your internet and home networking needs, this is the one to go for. Kudos to the team behind this fantastic offering!

A definite improvement on my basic router
After a lot of prevaricating about compatibility and capabiliy, I plumped for this solution to my wi-fi woes. I have a range of smart devices and smart plugs and, when family or visitors log-in to my existing ISP-supplied router, it inevitably fell over. At other times, devices would just drop off for no apparent reason. I wanted a relatively cheap and easy-to-set-up alternative and, so far, after about two months of continuous use, this small eero hub has fitted the bill. To set it up, I first switched off the wi-fi on my existing router and plugged the eero into that, switched them both on (after downloading the eero hub) and waited for instructions. The app walked me through the set-up and - bingo - 28 devices showed up ready and working (I had kept the same username/SSID and password. I thought I might have trouble adding new devices, as this runs on 2.4 and 5ghz and I have always had to switch off the 5ghz band when adding new 2.4ghz devices, but you can easily 'pause' the 5ghz band via 'Troubleshooting', and that solved the problem. Overall, I am pleased with the ease of use and reliability of this hub. It has definitely improved my wi-fi connectivity and speed at reasonable cost. It might not suit the techie who wants more control over backend settings, but for the general user, who just wants to set it up and forget about it, it is a good option.

For when Virgin's Sagemcom Hub 5 (their best ever) just doesn't cut it
We recently moved house. Virgin offered the best fibre offering so I switched. They provided their Hub 5 (their best yet!). If you have over 50 devices on your network, some fixed IP, within a month the hub would stop allocating IP addresses and then something inside the unit would fail where you couldn't even plug a laptop into the back of the unit and configure it via LAN. You can imagine my thoughts when paying for their 'top of the range' solution (at quite a price). So I've decided with my 3rd replacement Hub 5 to run it in full modem mode. This turns the light green on the front, and then you need an Eero router system to take over all the IP address allocation duties for the entire network. Within 30 minutes it was set up and running, no more hassle, devices dropping off the network, good speeds. I added two extenders. At this point if you plan to do the same I suggest reading on. When I added the extenders the majority of the wifi devices remained on the primary device that was installed first. To redistribute your devices across multiple Eero devices on your network I recommend the following: Go into Eero app (this is for iPhone app): Go to settings icon on bottom right hand side of the app (cog symbol) Scroll down to option 'Network settings' Scroll down to bottom of the page and click on 'Restart Network' Scroll down to bottom of the window and hit the big blue button It takes about 60 seconds to complete but when the network reboots it redistributes devices far better (I wouldn't say 100% as there are a few strange node choices made by the system), but you'll get a far greater spread of your equipment between the devices. Its about time Eero gave users the chance to point a device as the extender / router which the user knows is logically the closest! Other than this it's all been straightforward from unboxing to using, so no complaints so far with 71 devices on the network.
