I use these for a latch under my stairs. Theyre very strong. Multiple ways to fit, 3m or screws, i went with screws. Quality looks pretty decent, theyre plenty heavy enough cos of the magnets. Would recommend.

The question I had when I purchased these was - would they be strong enough! The answer is definitely yes. I’m using them to hold sizeable wood panels in place vertically. Also used one I had left over to hold our ironing board upright in a cupboard. Given the strength of the magnets I didn’t think the 3M sticky pads used to position the catches would work. They did!

Very strong magnets and easy to fit, but on of the plates I received had one hole not drilled through. Luckily I had some steel bits for my drill so I was able to fix it but poor quality control loses a star.

Good value for money. Very strong. Perfect choice.

Very strong magnets

I wanted something that would baby proof the cupboards. This is strong enough to stop a baby opening a cupboard door. I bought two others and the screws were terrible but these are black and good quality. I would recommend screwing in the door catch first, then close the door and draw the holes for the magnet. Makes the installation much easier!

Amazingly strong. I needed them to hold in place a new very heavy bath panel. High street ones just weren’t holding enough. Very easy to fit as well.

- the magnet is strong, which is good - it is bigger than expected, so make sure it is suitable for you - the screws are ridiculous: wrong size and cheap. Two holes are countersunk but the screws provided are too big to sit flush. The other holes are not countersunk, so the screws look even worse - ignore the sticky pads, they are not going to work to help find the location of the holes - the paint is really poor. It shows bubbling and flaking out of the box. I doubt it will last long. Overall it does the job but it is not a great product.
