Installed these on a D’Angelico Premier Bedford to help liven up the tone without being too bright. It honestly sounds like a different guitar. The installed D’Angelico Electrozinc strings were buzzy and way too bright. The Duncan Designed tele style and mini humbucker have a fuller sound — before they sounded thin and I was debating replacing the pups. With these strings, the tele style single coils have a beautiful, chime-y, full tone. The mini humbucker is getting replaced for something a bit hotter, but these strings make it sound good and keeping me busy until the new pup arrives. I’ve ordered multiple sets for my other guitars and will be changing them out soon. Thank you Stringjoy! These remind me of a regional brand sold during the 80’s and 90’s. When they stopped making them, I thought I’d never be able to find that same tone. My search is over!!!!

This is my third different set of Stringjoy strings and they never disappoint. These things last! They're comfortavle and well balanced strings. They stay in tune really well.

They’re great I use these strings a lot, and in one of the pack's, it came with an extra B string

Don’t like 9s…?….dont like 10’s… these are the BEST…they tune right up tight… they Hold tune but are very limber….they love each other…they sound big but feel very limber… #1….each string comes in its own plastic sleeve…. The sleeve opens with no effort…unlike daddario sleeves which you need to carry a switchblade knife to open it onstage….and you don’t have to guess in the dark if it is your little E string or the B string…. It tells you Right on the package.!,..in big numbers.. I put these on an SG with a vibrola…. It tunes right up….in no time…I use the under over tune wrap so that I get a locking function with no jive….this is such a good feeling set..!.. The strings are really long…so if you have a reverse firebird you can easily change your little E string and have Plenty of wrap left over…or if you have a bigsby you will still have a mile of string to reach your tuner.. These strings are worth the money….trust me…I’m gonna stock up..

1st impression is these strings feel incredible. Durable and steady. Tuning stabilized very quickly as well. Problem is I put Balanced Light on an 2004 Epiphone Les Paul and they sound MORE mellow than the old D'addario Mediums that were 6 months old! I made recordings or before and after straight into a mixing board. The D'addario were definitely brighter when new. Im going to try swapping them to a naturally brighter DC Junior and see if they belong there... Bright and twangy on a P90 Junior. Weird. Maybe they just dont like Les Pauls. Really nice... but super mellow.

Best strings. Don’t think I’ll go back to NYXLs after these. Using the 10-48 set in D standard on my Jackson is just perfection.
