We recently realized our new Husky is basically part mountain goat when he managed to easily scale our backyard fence. To keep him safe, we had to quickly rig up a DIY extension to the top of our existing setup. Instead of messing with complicated metal hardware, I picked up this assorted pack of zip ties. We used the beefier 12-inch and 8-inch ties to lash the new extension poles directly to the existing fence posts, and then used the 6-inch ones to tightly secure the new wire fencing to those poles. They worked like an absolute charm. They zip tight without the teeth stripping out, hold a surprising amount of tension, and seem to be handling the unpredictable Milwaukee weather so far without becoming brittle or snapping. Having the four different lengths in one single bag was a huge timesaver since I didn't have to keep guessing which size I needed. My only minor complaint is that the included 4-inch ties are pretty flimsy compared to the larger sizes. They were way too small and weak for the heavy-duty fence project, so I just set them aside for indoor computer cable management. Also, a resealable bag would have been nice so I don't have hundreds of loose zip ties spilling all over my garage shelf. Overall, they did exactly what I needed them to do and kept our escape artist safely in the yard. Hope this helps someone!

Great Great zip ties! My husband is the Zip Tie User King! But he pays sooo much for them at the local store! I found these for a Great price, great pack of assorted sizes (sooo helpful), good strength and easy to use (even when on a ladder! Eeek!) They aren't for heavy duty use, but lighter weight use. We just need basic things like the thick contractor black bags to be tied up when full of whatever he throws out. He uses them for organization of his tools, things in his shop and around the house. I got them to hold down a basic tarp on a pergola in the back yard and they were Perfect! They are easy to zip locked and hold well. They are basic black, not white, which is great for the brown tarp and posts they are tied onto. Until the all day and night tropical storm winds came disguised as a cold front and these ties just could not hold that brutal wind the whole time. So, not heavy hurricaine, extended hours on hours, winds, but household things. These are your Ties!!

The product is exactly what you pay for. It’s not the most top qualities zip ties. But in normal every day simple applications they work fine for holding a wire back or holding something together. They do excellent. But if you’re looking for a really heavy duty, zip tie. Keep looking.
