I’m back to buy this again and thought I should probably leave a review as I don’t hardly ever double buy hair products. My hair has been over processed hard and was in bad shape. But really thought I was going to have to do a big cut and this stuff single handedly saved my hair. I use it twice a week in place of conditioner and once every so often let it sit for longer time before rinsing. This stuff is MAGIC. My hair is soft, shiny and healthy and it looked like hay before.

I have severely damaged hair, and on my journey for a better hair routine and growth (as I am thinning on top, as my mother and grandmother have). At first, I thought my hair was beyond help as I put on the first application, thinking it was a bust. My hair felt frizzier and robust (almost like the grey hair of an older person). On my next shower day (wasn't long after, by a day or two, since I'm adding oils to both my hair and scalp), after the second application, it felt so much smoother, softer, and less brittle, with fewer breakage/split ends. I believe my first application: my hair was so damaged and lacked protein; it absorbed most of it to help just reinforce the strength of the hair strands, which gave that robust, stiff feeling at first. After a day or two with the new application, it focused more on softness, as the hair strands had enough protein to work on the texture. Hair was no longer frizzy, and I use this ever so often when my hair gets a little rough between shampooing days. Cons: Not vegan-friendly (not against since Koreans do not abuse animals as the US does, and do not waste animal products). Very small bottle, but meant to be a dupe of Olaplex, which is great for the price. It might take more than one application to see results, but it does work. Don't think you need more applications per wash; focus on more applications throughout shampoo days to get results. After achieving the hair quality status, you can use less of it and maintain your hair unless needed. Another con would be that most writings and instructions on the bottle are in Korean. It does come with a paper slip on instructions on how to use it in English, but it will not tell you the rest on the bottle if you ever want to look up ingredients. The reason I am giving the 5 stars despite the con is that the product looks very good and extremely satisfied with the results. Again, a small bottle, but since I started my hair journey, I do not need to use it very much. There are some weeks when I don't shampoo my hair once, and my hair starts to stiffen and feel brittle. This product helps revive those extra-long periods between shampoo days.

It still has plenty of movement. How we used it: Applied to damp hair, then used a blow dryer on the no-heat setting. Alright. Let’s start with the must know - I have very fine, but VERY dense hair. Because of my horrible haircut that I’m trying to grow out, most of my hair lands between my bra strap and the curve of my low back, but the bottom section of hair has just begun to touch the top of my buttcrack. I also have unruly wave, maybe wide spiral, curl pattern, that I cannot tame because I lack both the patience and upper arm strength to do so. I live in the desert, have low porosity hair, I do not use any silicones besides dimethicone because they make me break out and weigh my hair down, I do not use SLS or most sulfates because they make my scalp peel like it has a bad sunburn, and I haven’t dyed my hair in 9 months. The last time I dyed my hair, I had someone else do it for once and got a balayage - the lady had to use activated charcoal bleach to pull very stubborn pink and 2n (not boxed) color out. It took about a month of moisturizing hair masks to recover from that. Ffwd to now. I’ve been frustrated with poofy, tangly, half CG trained hair that now won’t lay straight OR curl. Couple that with the fact that since I stopped being brainwashed - I mean vegan - last December, the hair between the crown of my head and my neck is twice as dense as the rest of it. Every day has been a battle to not give myself a bob with kitchen scissors. I’ve been wearing a bun for too long because of it so I have both breakage and regrowth. It’s a freaking nightmare. I’ve also been super busy for the last 6 months and desperately needed a haircut, which I scheduled before I washed my hair today and decided to use this. I WAS planning on basically giving up and cutting off *8 inches* before I washed my hair today. 3 to even out that weird bottom section which still has to happen, and then 5 more to get up to where my brush stopped.. stopping. Now I only need to do 2 inches of that 5. When I first dried it, it felt a little funky. Not slippery, not dry but kind of.. stuck together. Not bad but not good. So I was like meh won’t buy it again. BUT!!!!! Over the last 2 hours my hair has gotten softer and softer. The poof has gone down drastically since I dried it, and when I had my husband take a pic for my bff so I could gush about this treatment it looks like I’m standing in full sun the way it shines. Except that the blackout curtains are closed and the only light for the pic was a solitary overhead light. Obviously this is a protein treatment so don’t overdo it but I’m in awe and I’m going to buy a crapload of bottles next week when I get paid. This is AMAZING. And there is no scent! I want to smell like the perfume I picked today, not like my hair products. So it’s a super win for me :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This mask really surprised me. It leaves my hair super soft, manageable, and with a nice natural shine without feeling heavy. It feels more like a deep treatment than a regular mask. I also love that it has no scent, which is perfect if you’re sensitive to fragrances. The size is very practical and lasts a while. I would definitely keep using it.

Frankly I really wanted to love this product - it has such great reviews and I've had it in my cart for weeks considering it. Finally pulled the trigger and ordered it - and am disappointed that for me it really did not seem to be any more special than other more and less expensive treatments I have purchased. It think it depends on your hair and your issues, but for $7.00 or so it's very affordable to give it a try. I've partnered it with the Elizavecca shampoo as well as other brands but just really not anything out of the ordinary. I did not notice any off putting smell, the texture is fine and seems rich and conditioning. I did think that it had a tendency for my crown to get greasier quicker than other brands. I wash my hair usually every three days but wet it most other days and lightly condition. My hair is fine and flyaway and as a 60+ year old, getting sparse.

Dec. 15, 2025, initial review: I received the Éclat Vitamin C serum and cream one week ago. It’s been a great addition to my routine. I’m 59, my dad was a dermatologist. I’m big into skincare and only use products backed by science. I like the consistency of the serum. It’s like water, so it mixes great with The Ordinary Buffet with Copper Peptides and Growth Factor serums. Apply mixed in a bottle, your hand or one at a time. All formulas compatible to do either. Next, I add my Rx Retin-A 0.05% to the Vitamin C cream, so it’s easier to spread the Retin-A (tretinoin). This is so perfect. They are ideally compatible. So far, no burning, redness or peeling with the added Vitamin C products. Make sure you treat your face, neck, chest and hands exactly the same, so none of them give away your age! My goal for the added Vitamin C is to even out my skin tone. I have very minimal sun damage. I haven’t tanned since 10th grade. But, we can always improve our skin tone and texture. The cream is a velvety smooth gel-cream texture, which is fabulous. It’s unscented, also good. The serum dries quickly, absorbs easily, as does the cream. No greasiness or oiliness during the day or breakouts. I use It Cosmetics powder foundation and Maybelline Age Rewind concealer. Both are great and compatible with all the products mentioned, and all available on Amazon. I will update review with results after I finish the first bottle and jar, then again in 3 months and 6 months. Be mindful of sun exposure when using Vitamin C, Retin-A or anything that increases cell turnover, so you don’t get burned, accidentally. I prefer sunscreen with clear zinc, and/or mineral barriers, rather than chemical sunscreens. I think Éclat products are very well formulated and reasonably priced. Results TBD!

This makes your hair like silk. I’ve used olaplex too but this had a much better effect. I have to mention that I already have very straight hair. But it tends to dry out and get frizzy at times. Also I tie it up while cooking and it leaves a line in my hair. But this product kind of straightens that line out and leaves my hair smooth and glossy. I leave it in for the max time of 20 mins. A little goes a long way. I have waist length hair and have used it twice so far. Will probably last another two washes. Dunno how it will work on people with curly hair but for straight hair people, I hands down recommend you try it !
