This book is a must have for weavers! again would recommend this for advanced weavers who hav good working knowledge of weaving and intermediate weavers who want to try something new on loom. All the weaves have been represented with sample swatch images. Wish the images were in color. A must have for weaving as well!

Excellent resource for 8 shaft owners
This is an excellent book with a lifetime’s worth of weaving patterns in it. Illustrations and photos are all black and white, but book was first published in 1991. Book is divided into 25 chapters and gives instructions for warping hundreds of patterns, from simple twills, to much more complicated designs. Each pattern has a photo of the finished cloth and the drafting and tree align order shown in diagrammatic form

Unique book on the market
I bought this book for my wife, who loves to weave. So far she has worked on 4 shaft looms, but we recently ordered her a new 8 shaft one. We didn’t think it was so hard to find patterns for 8 shaft looms. We were very happy to find this book. A real gap-filling work.
