Fantastic little chirping bird toy
I bought this toy for my cat but he's never gotten to play with it. My 12 month old granddaughter and my Yorkie grab it up to play with it constantly. It chirps loud enough for them to hear it but it's not an obnoxiously loud toy. I'm planning to order several more so the cat gets a chance to enjoy it.

Kitty gives 5stars!
My cat is really enjoying these! He has them stationed conveniently around my living and dining rooms where he periodically lets them know who is boss! The chirping entices him to play. I recommend these for their sturdy construction and life-like appearance.

A little pricey but cute and the cats like them.
I like that there are more than one chirp sound for the bird. Well-made and reasonably-hard to destroy.

Realistic bird toy
My cats absolutely loved this bird toy at first - it really caught their attention with the flapping wings and chirping sounds. The lifelike feathers were a nice touch, though they managed to rip the tail off when the very first day. After a few months, they seemed to lose interest, probably because the novelty were off. One thing to note: this toy doesn't actually fly - it just flaps and chirps. It also collects a lot of hair, so you'll need to clean it frequently to keep it looking nice. On the bright side, the USB-C charger is convenient, and the battery is impressive - it lasts a long time between charges. Overall, it's a cute and entertaining toy that's worth trying.

Reducing stars from 5 to 3
Update: The bird has not fared well. After only a month, it is torn (with protruding stuffing) and has stopped chirping. The mouse is still going but that may only be because my kitten lost the mouse for a few weeks. I only found it a few days ago so it really has not been played with. I have to reduce the stars because any toy that is designed as a chew toy should be able to withstand being played with for more than a month before the stuffing is coming out (see pic of white fiber fill coming out of the neck) and the chirping stops...especially since it costs a little more than some of the other chirping cat toys. Jack has a little cheap chirping bird made of felt that has been going strong for two months with no signs of wear...and it is one of his faves so he punishes it. I expected this bird to be of at least equal quality. I can understand occasionally getting a dud with a bad battery, but I don't think that it should be falling apart. Jack is only a five month old kitten, not a lion. The stitches need to be reinforced on these and the battery should last longer than a month. Original Review: My 4 month old kitten went bonkers for the bird. He loves it more than the mouse. He likes chirping balls and birds in general but with this one, he didn't want to let go of it long enough to play his favorite fetch game with me. I reached for it and he swatted me and hugged it. It took him about a half hour before he was willing to "share" and this morning, he hopped on my bed with it in his mouth. He likes carrying it from room to room. I like the realistic looking feathers. His other chirping toys are all plush or felt.

It flew away
My cat is old, so I bought this, hoping that it'd pique his interest in playing once more. He loved it. Unfortunately, now we can't find it. I keep a clean house and haven't found it under the beds or furniture. He must have hidden it somewhere.

Don't believe those 5โ reviews! Toy not as pictured/described!
Dislikes: photo of supposedly flapping chirping bird makes it look 3 times larger than it truly is. The supposed flapping bird will fit in the palm of your hand. It is extremely small for the $16.99ยข price tag. Flapping wings, barely moves, chirping? What chirping? It sounds more like a very stifled duck quack, NOT A BIRD CHIRPING! And it is BARELY AUDIBLE! And the worst of it, is the cost, especially since I found this EXACT SAME flapping bird, chirping toy in one of our local pet stores for $5.99ยข! Won't return since I'd lose half my money in return shipping fees for a toy that should never sell for over $17 with sales tax. Plus there is NO WAY to send it back in its original packaging that had to be ripped apart to even get the toy out. Just a sealed cellophane bag, not zip-loc, or any way of easy-opening. No real protection for the toy in the type shipping packaging used either, just a plastic sealed envelope. No, I wouldn't recommend this toy, and if I could give it a NEGATIVE RATING, it would garner a -10โ Rating. Don't waste your time, or money for these gigwi toys, they absolutely ARE NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Look for a better quality Animated toy with sound elsewhere. These ARE NOT IT!
