I am really happy with these. However I am going to chop this part up to my error as one of the seals on the container chipped away. I think this is my bad because it was very cold coming out of the fridge and made the plastic brittle. They probably work BEST as a dry container or an open container in the fridge. They are leak proof when the seal is not broken as after I chipped it, that one no longer worked. Love that the lids are not to the same container and the containers fit inside each other. I see a lot of home cooks using this stuff for easy storage at home! They get the job done, just because careful and maybe let them warm up a bit before "cracking" it open, pun intended.

UPDATE: Now that I've had some time to use these, I would NOT buy again. I never use them for the microwave I just freeze my items in them and thaw on counter and now noticing that the bottom of these is so thin they are cracking so not good freezer material or for long-term use. DO NOT BUY!!! I will never again. I bought these to store homemade cat food for my special kitty dealing with kidney failure. They are 8 oz, in size so you can store a little or store the full container. The top snaps down quite securely and since I have not used liquids yet only gave that rating three stars because I don't know if they are liquid tight. I would buy again if needed.

I like that they all stacked together. They break easily though. They’re a good size. They hold the right amount. The lids are more sturdy than the balls themselves, though they don’t seem to break. They also get discolored if you put red sauce in them.

These are sturdy and provide for a single dish meal. They work well in the microwave (but leave off the lids and cover with a paper towel as the lids seem to warp a bit when hot). I wash and reuse these. I have bought the black plastic tubs and some are a structurally a bit weak and come out of the microwave a little floppy (not for children). I've settled on these as the best option for chili's, stews, soups and leftover casseroles. I do plenty of those up so that my family can quickly grab something to eat when they're hungry. They make nice, neat and stable stacks in the refrigerator... easy to grab. It also saves space as I don't put huge containers in the fridge any more. Just portion it out in individuals servings for quick grabs for lunches and brunches for the grandkids (mostly). These boys eat me out of house and home. In the end, this saves money as you aren't dragging out the big containers and filling a bowl... grab these, microwave and eat right out of the container. I easily store big batches of soups, casseroles, stews, spaghetti, fried rice, mac'n'cheese, and chicken salad. I can get 30 or more on the top shelf easily and you can clearly see what's in them. The boys have lots of choices and each can get what they feel like at the moment with these. They wash up in the dishwasher top shelf along with their lids, just fine. They have very tight seals. I've seen them go flying and they survive without leakage each and every time. I'm not continually cooking this way. Cook all at once and store. We can go about 4 days with these when the kids are here. Love these better than my "permanent" containers. They last a long time.
