Ever Ready First Aid Plastic 12" Goniometer 360 Degree ISOM

I liked that I could keep track of my range of motion at home before going to PT after my knee replacement. When I went to PT I could compare the results and the results were very accurate. The price is right and this is a good tool to use at home while doing those important exercises. Keeing track of the bend and straightness of your knee gives you the motivation to continue on your path of recovery or try a little harder between PT visits.

VERY nice protractor and easy to use and easy to read. Got it to measure knee flexion after knee surgery ( a really key indicator of recovery). Well made.

Have used for several years and it’s still going strong even with frequent use and frequent cleaning with alcohol pads and other cleaners. The numbers are still holding strong and readable.

Simple device but allows for a wide range of errors.

Bought this to help in knee surgery recovery. Very reasonable price, works as expected. Only downside is that the "legs" are only 12" (as advertised) and the ones used by physical therapists are more like 18". The extra length would probably make this device easier to use and more accurate, but it also might be a lot more expensive. I saw one on another website for $18. This one was $7 with free shipping. Was delivered in two days as promised. The price was great and it works well enough for my purposes, so I would recommend it. If used consistently, it gives a helpful measurement of progress.

I mean, what can I say? It's a good goniometer. It's definitely made well and the numbers are easy to read. Definitely suggest if you're looking for a new one.

A goniometer isn't something you find in every house yet it's surprisingly useful. Everyone measures distances with a ruler or a tape-measure and everyone is comfortable and familiar with determining how long, how deep, how wide something is. Yet few people bother to measure angles, few know how to determine how many degrees wide or acute an angle is in their everyday surroundings. I use my goniometer for bike-fitting purposes but you can find many other uses for it in your house. This product is simple, effective, and inexpensive. Coupled with a level, it is quite telling.
