How do I choose between the Bissell 1806 and the 1940 models

I’ve had both and the 1806 is far superior in my opinion. The tank is better because you don’t have to remove it, and the brush attatchmeny is much stronger than the 1940. Without even trying I realized the 1806 brush cleans my grout with no effort! The brush on the 1940 was pretty useless. They both come with pads and I bought some extra as well.

It gets as hot as the boiling point of water at your location. At sea level, 212 degrees F. In Denver, the Mile High City, only about 202 degrees F.

Which it is the difference between the model 1806 and 1940

In addition to the manufacture's reply, the 1940 has 3 steam levels (low, medium, high) while 1806 has only 2 steam levels.
