Cute little carafe. Beautiful color. No leaks. Keeps coffee hot. A perfect size match when you place a regular Melitta #4 drip filter holder on top. Disappointing that it’s not made in Japan, but I hope it’s as great quality as our Zigurushi bottles and tumblers.

I wanted an insulated carafe for pourovers that would fit a hario v60 and keep my coffee hot or cold for several hours. I was torn between Hario's 800ml carafe and this one. This was $10 less at the time I bought it, so it won the standoff. So far, it's exactly what I was after. Before I used it, I tested its heat retention to ensure it would suit my needs. To do so, I filled it with hot tap water (~115ºF) for a few minutes to warm it up, then emptied it and added 0.5L of 195ºF water. I let it sit for 3 hours in 65ºF air temperature, and after that time, the water temperature measured 176ºF. As far as my needs go, that's more than sufficient. So far, my real-world usage has been great. It does what I need, it's easy to clean, and it feels well-built, contrary to other reviews. Hopefully it stays that way!

this is an excellent thermal carafe for coffee, the ability to clean the lid effectively is a plus unlike some others where you can’t take it apart to clean each part. The only drawback I had with this one is the size, it does not hold a full 10 cup pot of coffee.

I have 2 of these and use one every single morning ... an item I could not live without. The 1L capacity holds a large amount of tea and keeps it hot for hours ... the carafe is simple to clean and is durable - I have dropped mine but you would never know it. It never leaks, it is not too heavy to hold, the flavor and taste of whatever I put in it (tea, it is tea) is never impacted by the carafe and I love the blue color. One of the best things I have ever purchased - cannot recommend enough. (Zojirushi is a very good brand - they still make appliances well, and ones that last)

I purchased this based on the testing/recommendation of America's Test Kitchen (my go-to for product testing) and it did not disappoint! I bought this specifically for a holiday brunch so that I could keep a hot pot of coffee for my guests without having to leave it on the coffee maker hot plate and have it turn bitter. It worked great and I love the look of it. It's not hard to find inexpensive carafes but they just don't perform as well. This will keep things hot (or cold) for hours. Use it for coffee, broth, cocoa - or cold applications like milk or cream. Great product!

I bought mine in June 2022. I saw some reviews complaining that temperature drops immediately - I do not think it is correct. I can make tea in a pot - let it steep for a a while which will drop the temperature. Then 4 hrs later it is still to hot to drink. And since capacity is 1 liter you typically end up finishing it before it gets lukewarm. With coffee it works even better (I have dedicated one for coffee and one for tea) - I put Hario dripper on top (fits the opening perfectly) so the coffee that goes in is very hot. So it stays hot long enough - I eschew caffeine in the afternoon. I also use it for iced tea - filled it with ice and poured in the tea and it stays cold for entire day. Cleaning is quite easy - unscrew bottom part, release the spring and you can wipe clean any tea or coffee residue fron the entire liquid path. Gasket are also easily removable. I do hope Zojirushi will keep some spare parts available - bottom part is rock solid - top is too but I think that in 4-5 years the gasket may need to be replaced. UPDATE: After about 6 months some liquid seeped into space between walls and you could feel it sloshing there - even with carafe being empty. Naturally thermal insulation is gone but what is worse is that if liquid can get inside it can also get outside and mix with coffee - carrying who knows what kind of poisonous chemicals. Amazon completely refused to stand by the product. This is not the old Amazon that would always strive to support customer. The new Amazon tells you "if it broke outside return window it is your problem" then hangs up on you. So basically it is a lottery.

I’ve only used this thermos for coffee. I can take it to work and it will keep coffee hot for hours, better than my other steel walled containers. Also easier to hold and pour, and the cap is easy to disassemble for cleaning. Hold about 3 and 1/2 mugs.

I keep a pot of tea going all morning and then pot of decaf going all evening and it’s nice and warm. It’s a little bit of a pain in the neck to take apart and clean, but it’s well worth it. Holds up well, keeps the tea warm. Love it love it love it.

Keeps water cold without causing condensation on the dining table. Very effective in the summer months with Mumbai’s humidity.

The product fails in the most important job which is keeping heat. I have used Chinese carafes and they hold heat for more than 7 hours. This product holds heat for maximum of 4 hours. Very disappointing. I bought it because of the brand, but it looks like old brands are starting to go downhill.

It seems that the thermal doesn’t keep the temperature well, the hot water is not that hot the next morning, even still within the 24 hours.
