Pali Hawaii Unisex Adult Classic Jandals Sandals

I have always been remiss in ordering clothing/shoes from Amazon, since I'm a very petite person. I'm 5'0", and I have incredibly small feet to the point where I will never know if a shoe will fit me, depending on its width and type (for example, I can typically wear size 6 boots without a problem, but size 6 flats fall off of me, and yet size 5.5 flats are too tight!) I decided to throw caution to the wind and purchase a pair of these sandals after seeing them recommending on a Buzzfeed listicle. I went with size 6 Women's, since unisex clothing rarely works out for me. When I tried them on, I was initially concerned because they were a tad large on me in the back. However, that fear was quickly allayed by just how wonderful they are. Despite that extra space in the back, the sandals are not too wide, and I have never slipped out of them while walking. The little dot grips on the right and left sides of the insole (I'm sure there's a technical name for them keep them clinging to my feet and provide a bit of acupressure goodness to boot -- meaning my feet have not hurt even after walking around in them for hours. The go with practically anything, too, making them an excellent addition to a versatile wardrobe. I'm planning on buying another pair! Seriously, if you're worried about purchasing because of small feet/size concerns, don't worry. They're a great pair of sandals.

First of all, I find these Pali Hawaii Classic Black Jandals run true to size. I always wear a 7B (medium) and had no issue with fit in a woman's size 7. Purchased these hoping for a sandal I could get wet but not slide around in as I usually do with a thong type once wet. The straps fit well, though there is no 'give' to them at all, no elastic goring or other means of adjustment. The textured foot bed features nubs that run across the ball of the foot and some at the arch. There is also a ridge that runs behind the toes to keep the foot in place and from slipping out the back, though it is not overly pronounced. Although the Jandals are not completely flat inside, the arch is not high enough to be considered supportive unless you're flat-footed or have very low arches - though any arch support is better than none. I read some reviewers found the nubs inside to be somewhat uncomfortable but I don't have an issue with them. They help keep your foot in place when your sandals are wet so your foot does not slide around. I did not expect these Jandals to be as comfortable as they are. They're actually somewhat 'cushy' to walk in and not slippery on flooring. I expected I would only wear them when my feet would get wet but I've found myself running errands in them and using them for slippers! I also found, quite by accident, they do a great job 'erasing' black scuff marks that my husband left on my off-white kitchen floor this morning... I gave these 5 stars based on comfort for the price point, good fit, and being better than expected for a pool/shower sandal.

Very good sandals I have these and another pair that is the lightes brown and they are super cute. These shoes are super comfortable, and I do recommend buy these shoes very great lake shoes and beach shoes. These shoes are not going to break on you I’ve had my other pair for 2 years and they’re still good. They do look good with dresses,shorts,jumpsuit's,and jeans.

These sandals arrived today. I was eagerly awaiting them. I tried them on, and they are too big. I have large feet for a woman. I usually wear a men's size 11.5 because I cannot find women's shoes in my size. Sometimes it sucks being a woman who is 6 feet 2 inches tall! I followed the sizing recommendations and ordered a size 13, which is the largest size these come in. The length is okay; it's the straps that are the problem. The straps are huge! In no way do they keep my foot secure. I struggle to keep them on without having them slip off. I guess they would fit if I wore socks, but that's just not how I roll with sandals! My feet are long and slender. I wonder if the manufacturer assumes that people with long feet automatically have fat feet?! For the price I paid, it's not worth the hassle of returning them. Lesson learned yet again about not ordering shoes online! It's too bad because I really like the looks of these sandals. The color is nice (like the picture shows, not too dark or light), and they feel comfy. Update 6/20/16: Okay, so I ordered a smaller size in these sandals. I kept the original pair to be worn as indoor slippers with socks. :-) New, smaller pair just barely fits the length of my foot, but the straps fit much better. The only downside to the new pair is the color. They are a very dark brown. Boo! I wanted the lighter caramel color of the original pair I received. Big bummer. Still not satisfied but such is life. Whatevs, I'll wear them!

I bought a pair of these sandals years ago, and they finally broke and I haven’t been able to find them at the same store since, so i decided to buy here. They are just as expected and just as comfortable!

These sandals are a repeat purchase for me, as I love these. They feels like a little massage for your feet and provide just a bit of support, making these a great option for sandals - as usually sandals do not provide any support and usually have such a thin bottom, that you feel the ground while wearing them. These do not do that - the bit of support and "fat" soles help cushion your feet from the ground. Additionally the sandals themselves can easily be washed/rinsed and/or great for wearing around water. The soles are textured to prevent slipping on wet or slick surfaces. They fit as expected in both width and length/shoe size.

I've reviewed other products from this same manufacturer / seller and I think it's a great product. These sandals had the same quality fit and finish to them, though the sole is a bit thinner in this model than the others I bought. To be fair, I sent this model back as it was not sized (I ordered them in 12) as the other two pair that I ordered at the same time in the same size. But I have really really high arches and rather wide feet. Someone who had my size dogs but in a standard width might very well have found this one to be completely acceptable. In addition, I felt (burly, hairy-chested brute that I am) that these were just a shade on the feminine side of 'unisex' for my taste. If they had fit as well as the others, I'd probably have kept them (not withstanding the aforementioned 'brute' comment; draw your own conclusions at your own risk....). You should really consider snapping up a pair or two of these (or the other styles as suits your taste) while they are this inexpensive. I doubt they'll stay that way long. In the interest of full disclosure, I DID NOT receive these in exchange for a 'fair' review. I bought them of my own free will because I'm a cheap . . . well, you know . . . and was attracted by the price. Amazon would have taken them back had I not liked the other two and they took this one back without complaint. (How does one get on that gravy train gig where you get free stuff to review? I think I should be recruited . . . )

Ive bought many pairs of this here sandal. Im getting new ones because the soles are worn out. You cant tell from the top but on the pic where theyre flipped over, you can see. Ive only bought this brand here “Pali Hawaii” and I swear by them. I have not lost my arches, and my toes arent all spread out either. They have good grip on the bottom for a long while, but never lose it on the inside. As far as the quality goes, theyre pretty malleable but have never snapped or broke. I tend to like to feel the terrain under me and these allow me to do that. If you like grounding but go places where you arent sure if it safe/ sanitary to remove your shoes, these are for you. They clean up pretty easily arent all plastic and stiff feeling when you do. If your pretty active like me and want a sandal that looks nice and can hold up for any occasion give these a try! Ps- For those wondering, thats my kitty Duet.

I found a black pair of these at Walmart in Kona back in March and bought them out of desperation. At the time I thought they were ugly AF. But that changed when my tender tootsies were given the absolute pleasure of a mini massage every day and they were so comfy. I went back to Walmart to get more in other colors but sadly my size is common so nothing left. So I came home and ordered more here in all colors and am enjoying the comfort of these somewhat ugly sandals. But as someone who has always suffered from feet that are always sore and then faciatitis you will pay anything for comfort. I recommend these!

The size is correct. Very comfortable. They don’t look like rubber because of the rope pattern. The souls aren’t very thick. Not good on stones.
