I bought this item when I went vegetarian, it helps to add very good flavor to everything even when I cook beef stew for others. The quality and freshness are good. But beware it does however contain MSG and the sodium content is very high.

Knorr Bouillon cubes are perfect for seasoning. The cubes contain several spices and take the guessing out of adding flavor to fresh vegetables or beans. If using a 15 ounce canned vegetables add 1/2-1 cube to start since they have a high sodium content which can make the vegetables too salty. They can be added while making fresh soups or dried beans. Just add while the beans are boiling. The positive is the convenience. Each cube is individually wrapped and easily split into portions. Negatives included the high sodium content, I also noticed a fatty residue when refrigerating leftovers. My family has used these for years and I find it easier to cook with than Better than Bouillion when it comes to soups and canned goods. It’s easier to season by cutting cubes into portions which makes it easier to not over season the food. I find the vegetable cubes hard to find in the store so I buy them on Amazon.

Love these. I needed to go on a liquid diet for a bit and sipping broth made with these bouillon cubes was very satisfying. They’re easy to use and dissolved quickly in boiled water. The flavor is rich and they’re good quality. I also used these to make a broth for my vegetarian stuffing at Thanksgiving instead of adding plain water and it came out great.

Very convenient to keep on hand for a quick broth, a lot like bouillon cubes. Sometimes if you don’t mix it well it can stay in a clump (for example using it in an instant pot) but this only happened a couple times so far.
