8.5OZ Cotton Durable Denim Fabric 67 Inches Width Entelare(Light Blue 1Yard)

Pleasantly surprised to find a 'jeans type' denim fabric at this price. The past few years things have gotten where the 'denim' is actually only cotton (for pieced quilting type and not 'really' denim). Which is okay, but, this it much better. Feels and frays like jeans! Pros: 1. Durable and Medium Weight, 2. Color as expected (dark blue), and 3. Quality Denim as described. Cons: 1. If you need more than one yard, the packages with separate one yard each package (not continuous). More fabric will be needed if your pattern calls for two yards check for how much you might need with the pre-cut. 2. Because it is 'real jeans denim' Next time I will order a bit more than I need due to shrinkage (pre-wash shrinking typical for denim jeans type fabric). 3. But, the Manufacturer says 'hand wash' (if you do that shrinkage mentioned above might be less for you). I'm NOT handwashing denim lol but I ran it on normal and even put in my dryer on the normal heat (which is a bit cooler than normal). I will order again but next time I'll order 3 yards (for a two yard project) and maybe mix with the light blue as well (due to pre-cut sections and wash/dry shrinkage). For this time I'll add some cut up jeans legs I have to make up the difference.

This fabric has a lot of shrinkage upon first wash and dry which is normal for real good cotton fabric. You don’t see a lot of this kind nowadays anymore. I recommend pre-washing with hot water and dry before making things. I made a skirt and I will heavily wear it till it wears out. Highly recommended if you like high quality thick Levi’s from 3-4 decades ago.

Loved the feel of this denim fabric. I needed the fabric to make a patch for a pair of pants and other crafting projects I have not finished yet. The patch came out perfect! Fabric had enough thickness and stitch to fit around the pocket, color was not an exact math for my project but it worked out.

I like the look and feel of the fabric, but while sewing with it the color rubbed off on my hands. It's not colorfast apparently.

The shade of blue of the fabric is a little lighter than appeared on m y computer screen; it is more like I would describe as a very pleasing chambray color. The weight of the fabric is also very pleasing; just right for my intention to sew a wrap-around skirt. The delivery was very rapid. I'[m very pleased with the purchase.

Been sewing with DENIM for years. Color was a light blue,NOT Indigo blue as pictured.The weight was about 6oz NOT 8.5 oz as described, very thin.I ordered 3 yards and got (3) 1 yard pieces. I would have returned this fabric, but will use it as a backing for another project.Expensive and GENERIC.Stick with a brand you can trust like KAUFMAN.

Lovely denim. Good for skirts, vests, potholders, tablecloths.
