I ordered these because we had multiple snow storms in the Seattle area so I was snowed in and couldn't get to a store when I ran out of laundry detergent. Decided to give these a try since I had spilled liquid and powder in my garage and made quite a mess. WOW these are great! Not only are they so easy to just toss in the washing machine but they clean SO well and everything smells so great! Everything feels so SOFT even when it's wet from the wash! I'm amazed at how well these itty bitty packets clean compared to a big scoop of detergent - powder or liquid. I have ferrets and their bedding gets REALLY musky even though I switch everything out once a week. Even thie bedding got perfectly clean and with NO musky scent remaining - just that lovely fresh Gain scent. Yes, they cost more than liquid of powder but we're talking about a quarter a load. I'm a single person so if a do few loads a week that's under a buck. Well worth the convenience AND worth it for the cleaning powder. I'll see how long these last for me and may set up auto delivery so I never run out. My only negative is the childproof cap. I don't have kids so it annoys me the lid is so hard to open. I think what I'm going to do is just put a bunch of them in a zipper bag and put the rest of the container up on the shelf. TRY THEM!

We just recently switched to Gain Flings Laundry detergent packs. I had been making my own laundry detergent for 10+ years so this was a hard move to make. Once I made the switch to gain I immediately noticed a huge difference in our laundry. Our whites were whiter, our colors were brighter, our towels were softer and overall our clothes smell fresher and cleaner. The scent is amazing and lasts for over a week! I love that there is no measuring or pouring. All I have to do is grab 1 (if a small load) or 2 (if it’s a large load) flings and toss them in the washer. I used to use liquid detergent for many many years. No matter how I dispensed it in machine more times than enough it would stain some of my clothes. Then there was the build up in the washing machine. I clean my machine all the time but the build up from liquid detergent and fabric softeners is terrible. People who don't know enough to clean their machines can have them break down or wear out way before they should. I have been using Gain Flings and dryer sheets almost since they came out. At first I used hot, cold, warm or whatever temperature water I deemed necessary and they worked great. For atleast the last decade I've been using cold or on my newest washer tap (that's still cold) and gain flings dissolve wonderful. Never any stains on clothing or never any sign of them not melting or dissolving whatever they do. The whole laundry load is clean and smells so gain fresh and clean. I love it. I use the dryer sheets. I had problems with some liquid softeners in my washing machine. I changed and I'm completely satisfied. I'll let you know I am 71 years old and raised 7 children of my own and helped raise a few family members at times. Consider the clothes I've washed in my time. While kids were in school and we both worked there were many weekends I washed 10 or more loads of clothes just for school the next week. A few loads during the week also. Gain was my choice and the flings as soon as they came out. Just giving my 2 cents advice from someone who washed literally tons of clothes in my time on this earth.

This detergent is decent. Smells great. Cleans well. But if you're used to more natural products, you will notice a filmy residue left on your clothing. It is also not the best for sensitive skin or those with allergies. Otherwise, it is decent and lasts through a lot of laundry.

TLDR; Pros: - Smells amazing - Cleans well/works effectively - Helps me manage my dose so that I am not using too much thus - Saves money (through controlled doses, Subscribe & Save option, and bulk savings price) Cons: - Not environmentally friendly For as long as I can remember, I've been using Gain exclusively to wash my clothes. When they came out with the Flings, I jumped right on trying them. They *are* more expensive than the liquid, but I've found with the Flings, it's actually more affordable since I am no longer filling the cup to the brim with liquid like I used to. Simply use 1 for a regular/medium-sized load, 2 for a large load/heavily soiled regular load, and 3 for a heavily soiled large load. Ever since I began washing my clothes with Gain, I have gotten so many compliments on how great I smell, even though I rarely wear perfume. The only downsides is that this isn't exactly environmentally friendly, but neither is the liquid version of Gain. On top of the quality of this product, this is also a bulk size AND you can Subscribe and Save, which means you get double savings! The first time I added it to my cart, I even got a coupon for $2 off. :)

My favorite detergent. Good price. I get it with my Dash button. Love the Dash buttons and happy this a product offered with the Dash system. I love that there is febreeze (Sp?) in the pod. I have dogs... they get stinky... but after washing their bedding with this all the dog smell is GONE. The only thing that drives me nuts is the NEW and IMPROVED child proof lid. Really??? A child is not going to get into the OLD packaging if you close the top properly. And if a child did eat one of these things... well... Darwin might have something to say about that... Now it is like trying to get into a very hard to open pill bottle and once you have it open you never want to close it... which is what people with children will probably do too... thus defeating the "new and improved" child proof system and making it less safe than the old system. I gave up and moved my pods over to the old box and recycled the new one.

Love anything in the Gain original scent. Always makes every thing clean, fresh and smelling amazing. The draw back is the price when buying from Australia so I try to buy when I see a deal, which isn't that often. The other thing is delivery time. I do recommend this product however the price is ridiculous and I since found the same Gain pods for a fraction of the price

I love the smell it last longer specially on my towels.
