well worth it, good quaility, lots included.
well worth it. I've ran these for over a year on games that use these buttons often and they haven't failed me yet. if your looking to mod your controller, this kit provides everything you could want: spare screws, rubber bump ons, adhesive, screwsdrivers etc. best controller to do it on for anything not needing a linear trigger response.

Really good upgrade, but take your time.
I had issues with my original pro controller right top button. It would not always respond to clicks so I decided to replace with this. Before you start make sure you have a clean flat area as it is easy to lose the screws. Try and keep your screws set aside in the order they were taken out. Their are some hidden screws near the top battery compartment, so it is a good idea to watch some YouTube videos of how to take apart the controller. Be careful with the ribbon cables as they are easy to break. The original part is hard to take off as it is glued down. I don't think it will work after you take it off. Take a pic of how the original is fitted as it took me a little bit of working out where I feed in the lower to upper trigger without bending the cable. This bit can be hard because of the sticky tape. Please be patient and Careful. If you look at the pictures you can see where I have put the sticky pads. The new part does appear to be a little bit bigger but it still does fit. Make sure you put the new rubber bits into the new triggers as you cannot use the original grey ones. It was hard getting the two ribbon cables back in. I did have someone hold the controller close together which helped. Overall I am impressed with the new feel of the triggers. It feels a lot better I am unsure why Nintendo did not use this for their original design.

A Tactile Alternative to a Faulty Part.
The Switch Pro controller's shoulder buttons are a point of weakness. A number of people I know have had theirs break, seemingly out of nowhere. The same happened to me. Not knowing where to find a replacement, I ordered one of these. eXtremerate has a good reputation in the controller modding scene, and this is an interesting update. It was more expensive than a straightforward replacement would be, but it's still way cheaper than getting a whole new controller! The new feel of the buttons is nice and clicky. They have very little travel, and are quick to react. They also have make a little "click" sound as feedback. They do feel out-of-place on the Switch controller, though. The rest of the pad has a soft, almost mushy feel, so the click seems weird. That's just a personal gripe, though. A detail I like is that there are little rubber plugs that you insert into the plastic buttons to close the distance between the switches and the triggers. These give it a nice, satisfying feel. A lot of tactile buttons feel like hard plastic scratching against hard metal, but these feel satisfying. Installing these was a bit of a pain. You have to peel the original ribbon off, making sure not to break it. Then, you have to stick this one on using the included adhesive. It's a little nerve-racking, and never feels quite right. Once it's on, however, it holds securely. Overall, this is a lovely little gadget that will extend the life of your controller, as long as you have the expertise and steady hand to replace them.
