This kohler product is better than the johnson shower head both in terms of softness and also the water pressure. Issue with resellers who try to sell used products which we are not sure is being monitored. Kohler is good.

A great product...works great even with hard water

Where I live, the quality of water is hard and over time this has led to a deterioration in the quality of my hair and increased hair fall. I have been on the lookout for a filter shower for a while now and I ordered this on the recommendation of a friend. Delivery was prompt and installation was easy. Since using this shower (it comes in multiple lodes where you can adjust the water pressure settings), I have noticed a huge difference in my shower experience, especially after shampoo/head shower. The quality of the water is much better now and I can feel the difference in my hair after I shower. I have been using this for a few weeks now but wanted to share my experience here. I am sure that the hair damage will be reversed with prolonged use. If you are looking for a filter shower, then look no further.

Only modes 1,3,5 actually work/are required. Modes 2 & 4 seem gimmicky and without any function as of now. The showerhead is sturdy, crisp instructions for installation are available on the product page (the video). The flow is however a bit on the lower side. The water comes out feeling more streamlined, more softer? Any real effects on hair or on the quality of the shower would be appreciable only in the long run. Could've really been priced upto 3k rs max.

I am already taking a hair fall treatment so cautious about any hair product. This one did reduce hair fall and I see that with keen observation. It was easy to install (I installed it myself with bare hands). The modes work great. One thing though that water speed reduced a bit, though not a dealbreaker for me. The filter is replacable but a bit costly. If you have a budget to afford this luxury under your hair care budget then go for it.

I was looking for an Overhead bathing shower with can also soften the water (for the wellbeing of hairs and skin) and search a lot to find the right one. Let me provide you complete details of my experience. Requirement: I don't want to compromise on either shower quality or my actual need that it must soften the water and reduce hair fall. I finally zero down to KOHLER Rain Duet Filter Shower which is a Multifunction shower with FILTER CARTRIDGE (to soften the water). Experience: Excellent packaging, very stud and fresh quality, easy to fit into my shower (I did it myself after reading installation guide very easily). Excellent shower quality and multifunction works well. Using it for 2 months now and I can say that it has really reduced the hair fall for last 1 month, after that we see that it was loosing its magic. Few days before, I just reversed the CARTRIDGE into another direction and I can see water quality got improved again. Problem: There is no separate CARTRIDGE available on Amzon. As per my experience, CARTRIDGE works only for a month and then we have to reverse it. I am not sure how many time we can reverse and it can work (it might loose it's magic forever in coming months). Without CARTRIDGE, it will just become a good bathing shower and won't serve my main purpose. I will request KOHLER team to provide this as well on amazon, otherwise the product won't serve me in a longer duration. Verdict: Buy it only when separate FILTER CARTRIDGE (to soften the water) is also available. This is a very good product but without extra CARTRIDGE, you are spending 3000+ Rs, only for 3 or 4 months (I am yet to see how long it will last and i will update my review that time).
