Caught a pesky rat within 12 hours!
My father was pretty sure he had a rat in his 8'x8' walk-in closet. The evidence was regular droppings found on the floor and that it started eating through one corner of the carpet, including the padding and wood under it. At first, he thought it was a mouse, but it had easily set off and escaped from about 6 of them over the course of a few days. I decided to get him these glue traps as another option based on the high rating combined with thousands of reviews. He received the traps around 11 AM today, set up 4 of them in the closet, locked the closet door, and waited. When he checked the closet at 9:30 PM, the rat was struggling to get out of the trap, but it was futile. I won't go into the details of how he killed the rat (but you should realize that this trap doesn't do that for you), but he did get some measure of revenge for the damage caused by this creature. These traps are easy to set up and use, plus they are safe to have inside the home. However, you have to keep in mind that there is a very strong adhesive on these traps, so just about anything coming in contact with them will get stuck. My father learned this the hard way, when a hand towel happened to fall on one of the traps. He was eventually able to remove it, but a good amount of the towel stayed stuck to the trap. The 6-pack of traps we got cost $16. For how easy it was to set up, plus how well and how quickly it worked, I'd say it's a great value. Please note, however, that once a rat (or towel, for that matter) gets caught in one of these traps, I can't see a way for that trap to be reused. At the relatively low cost of these traps, that's a tradeoff I'm willing to live with, though.

These catch mice!!
These traps work better than anything else I have found! They might cost more than the wooden traps, but they are worth the price considering how easily I catch mice. I also love that I don’t need to fear hurting my fingers trying to set the wooden traps! There is virtually no set up. You take it from the box and place it where you need it. They are so sticky the mice cannot move once they walk on it, so be careful when handling because it can stick to your fingers! No smell and cleanup is as easy as throwing it away once you catch the mouse!

Works Quick & Efficiently
I ordered these traps at 5:30pm, they were delivered by 8:30 the same night. I set the traps up in all the “hot spots” and there was a mouse stuck to one by 10! I woke up again at 5am to ANOTHER mouse caught in the trap. These things are STRONG, have no odor, and caught TWO mice all within a 12 hour span. I can’t use the old fashioned traps that snap their necks so these are great alternatives that are easy to use, set up, and clean up.

Think about the endgame on this one
I like fees they’re pretty pricey, but they’re mostly effective. Unfortunately they trapped everything even stuff. I felt bad about trapping and had no intention of trapping. I understand those with moral concerns, but if you have a health hazard in your dwelling space you gotta make tough choices. Maybe they’re more humane ways, but this was effective. It did the job, but it also left me with a big problem once I caught something that was too big and I was unprepared to dispatch. I use the word dispatch meaning terminate maybe I should’ve just use the word terminate to begin with because if you use these, you better be prepared to become the terminator because what of these little sweet creatures don’t actually die. What if they just get caught and make squeaky noises for days and days I am a novice I didn’t know anything as a first time homeowner. I called an exterminator and they left us with these paper glue traps which were mostly useless. I bought these a few times but the last time I was kind of disappointed because they were all stuck together and I couldn’t get them apart and that’s a sticky disappointment

GREAT FOR CAR A/C SYSTEMS! Works Just as Expected... Probably Best for Smaller Mice Not Large Ones
Edited to Add: These versatile traps are also great for cars. See photos below. I had a mouse packing my car's AC system with detritus and excrement. Here's what you do: 1) Remove the cabin air filter. 2) Trace the shape of the filter onto a piece of cardboard; this will be used to hold the trap in place. 3) If needed, trim the trap to fit. You can use a utility knife, using a wooden paint stick as a cutting guide. I would not recommend using scissors, as they would get stuck. 4) Add some peanut butter, then place the trap onto the cardboard, and slide this into the slot where your cabin air filter goes (leaving the cabin filter out, of course). Replace the cabin air filter compartment cover. 6) You can look into the slot to see if you've caught anything. 7) When you catch the mouse, if possible wait 2 days to be sure it's dead. I have had experience with a mouse getting loose from regular traps and while it may not happen with these traps, you definitely don't want that! MY PREVIOUS COMMENTS: I bought a pack of these and am 2-for-2 so far against a couple of mice I've been trying to eliminate. A couple of comments to address some negative reviews: 1) I suspect these traps won't work well for larger rats, which would have more strength to struggle and break free (leaving behind some fur as seen in the review photos). 2) You do have to be careful separating the traps. If you squeeze the middle while pulling them apart, the glue will definitely stick to itself and damage the traps. One additional comment: the instructions caution against using peanut butter as an additional attractant, since the oils could soften the glue. I found that a little dollop right in the center of the trap works fine with no ill effects.

Sticky Rat Trap
These sticky traps work great. I put some wild bird seed in the center. Caught the whole family in two nights. When rat gets stuck, put whole trap in a bag, smack rat with a hammer and throw the trap and rat away.

These worked very well. Took care of my mouse problem at the cottage in just a few days.

These things work really well. We caught a mouse the first night we set the traps. We have probably caught about 10 mice in our house with these traps in the last month. The only thing is, the mice are usually still alive and you will likely find them when you hear their squeaking. You’ll need to put the whole trap (with the live mouse on it) in a bag and take care of it. If you can stomach that, then these are great. Also, be careful about placement if you have small children.
