Patio Umbrella Cover for 9ft to 13ft Offset Umbrella, Water Resistant, Curved Cantilever and Straight Pole Parasol Outdoor Umbrellas Cover with Zipper and Rod

Just installed this today after assembling our Purple Leaf 11 foot cantilever umbrella. This cover fit perfectly and seems well made. I can't speak to longevity yet but me initial impressions are very good. Came with a nice storage pouch and a folding rod that inserts into the cover to make it rigid. It's a nice design.

First year using, so time will tell on how long it lasts in Michigan. We purchased to protect a second hand treasure garden cantilevered umbrella and it fits great. The umbrella is ten feet, but ordered up to ensure in covers entire umbrella and all put two inches just above the huge stand. Easy to install and love the storage bag to store it.

We bought this Garden Balsum umbrella cover for the Purple Leaf 9' cantilever umbrella we just bought here at amazon. It's a beautiful thing! One of the best things I've bought at amazon in a long time (and I buy a LOT of stuff at amazon). It's impressively made: thick, waterproof, UV protected material (in a dark gray that exactly matches our umbrella, even though it's from a different manufacturer). It has a hefty, full-length zipper and a draw string bottom as well. It's designed for umbrellas of various sizes and styles. It comes in a nice zippered bag, with an extendable pole to allow you to hoist the cover onto the top of any large, tall umbrella whose top reaches well above your head. (The pole is roughly four feet long extended, and telescopes into itself down to barely a foot.) Since a large cantilever umbrella with a water/sand tank base is so big and heavy, once it's in position it's not really movable. That could be a problem for an umbrella that's out all year in a four-season climate, with wind and snowstorms in winter and wind and thunderstorms in summer. This cover, however, offers excellent protection for the entire umbrella, it's poles and mechanisms, top to bottom. So I'm no longer worried about what to do with the umbrella when winter comes. One more thing. This cover is not made by the company that made our umbrella. The umbrella company's covers cost literally twice as much as this one did, but this one certainly doesn't skimp on quality.

This is a very nice umbrella cover. Seems study. Fits and looks great. Very happy with purchase.

Arrived promptly. Fit my cantilevered umbrella, but it does not cover the last 4” of the umbrella. The fabric is super light duty, I’m not sure it will survive six months, much less the winter. The poles for removing and reinstalling the cover is of good quality, however I have not found the reinforced point that will help in not making a hole in the top of the fabric when it wears thin. I would look for a cover that is thicker and will last longer. For the price I guess it’s ok.

This Garden Balsam Patio Umbrella Cover fits my 12ft offset umbrella well and was easy to put on with the included rod. It keeps the sun, rain and wind off, and the drawstring at the bottom holds it secure so it doesn't blow off. The material feels sturdy and hasn't shown any wear after a few months outside. It folds up small for storage when not in use. I'd rather this get beaten down by the sun than my expensive umbrella.

Final revision: These were purchased December 2022 and have done a great job until now, July 2025. The covers have perished and the tops of our umbrellas are poking through. Maybe 2.5 years of Melbourne weather is about all we could expect. I am revising my earlier review (below) as despite my initial misgivings the cover has proved to be waterproof, phew. I won't know about the durability / longevity of the fabric for at least a year, so I'm giving the item five stars for now. Only two stars so far as I'm not sure whether the fabric will prove to be "water resistant" (listing title) or "waterproof" (about this item / 6th listing photo). See photos: the second photo shows the inside of the fabric, which feels lighter than I expected and doesn't scream "waterproof" to me. Time and a strong downpour will tell. As you can see, the cover fits beautifully - I'd thought it might be a bit long but happily it's not - and it appears to be very well made. If the cover proves to be waterproof then I'll revise my review and give it five stars.
